“Healthy” is not simply going to a fancy healthy cafe in your activewear and getting a kombucha, turmeric latte and a raw snickers - it’s about loving your whole self, and taking care of your physical, mental and emotional health and how you’re showing up for yourself, each day.
For me, that started with consciously making better food choices (at first, mainly out of body dislike) and I let it flow into my daily life, taking notice of how food makes me feel and soon, nourishing my bod with love and kindness..soon enough, I started to focus on more nourishing thoughts, instead of loathing what I saw in the mirror each morning, I told myself I am kind, loved and beautiful - long before I believed it.
Then..when you’re kind, like this, your world starts to change, into little actions, living out what you desire and not what you “should” be doing..
Sure, Health and wellness is trendy now, let that be a testament to more people giving a shit, not settling for averageness and making your own health and happiness your most important job.
