Delicious Parmesan Zucchini Spirals 🙌 Do you say Courgette or Zucchini🥒😄!?!

150 Calories per Spiral :)

Recipe here:
2 large zucchini
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/2 cup parmesan
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp pepper
Method:
1. Preheat oven at 200 degrees celsius 
2. Trim ends of zucchini and cut in half
3. Pierce with skewer
4. Hold knife at an angle and cut
5. Twist slowly and continue cutting until the end
6. Spread out the zucchini and drizzle with olive oil
7. Add remaining ingredients in a separate bowl
8. Sprinkle over zucchini and until well covered
9. Bake in oven for 40 mins (turn halfway)
10. Serve with your favourite dipping sauce and enjoy!

Let’s jump right into it: Why is being hungry on occasion a good thing?
➡️it signals that your metabolism is actually working and that hunger hormones etc are doing what they should do!
If you are never or always hungry that is a pretty good indicator that something is wrong, you should probably look into that.

Especially when it comes to weight loss goals, a little hunger here and there is perfectly fine. You are eating less calories than what your body needs to sustain its current mass, so feeling hungry occasionally is just a logical consequence. Scheduled diet breaks can help with that.

Often we just think we are hungry, although we might actually just be thirsty (have a glass of water and see how you feel after 10 minutes) or bored (go and do stuff 😝🚵‍♀️🛹🏊‍♂️).

Cravings are a whole other thing and they are often more mental than physical.
🔹We watch a commercial and suddenly all we want is pizza 🍕.
We smell donuts 🍩 and we can’t get the thought out of our minds. 
Firstly, I would suggest just withdrawing yourself from that situation (leave the room and do stuff, have water, turn off the tv) and if you are still thinking of it after a while just try to work it in with your planned meals. Often it is better to give into a small craving than letting the craving turn into a full on binge.
🔹If they are physical (let’s say your body just wants something salty) you could try have a couple of salted nuts for example, salt your meals better or simply allow yourself to have a small portion ...If we know how to properly listen to our bodies we can often find out what exactly it needs (that being said I don’t think any body ever “needed” chips, candy or lollies).
🔹another option could just be to increase your overall calories for a couple of days. You may have simply been working out harder or just feel more stressed and you body might be with a bit extra food, even if that’s not necessarily the food it was ‘craving’.

Who says you have to have pasta to enjoy an Italian dish?! We’ve cut out the refined carbs and instead added some colorful peppers! 
Ingredients:
➡️ 3 large bell peppers ➡️ 1 lb ground grassfed beef
➡️ 1 15oz can organic black beans
➡️ 1 jar organic marinara sauce ➡️ 1/2c chopped red onion
➡️ 8 cherry tomatoes ➡️ 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
➡️ 1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
➡️ Organic mozzarella cheese
Directions:
➡️Preheat oven to 350 degrees
➡️Wash peppers and cut in half, remove seeds and stem
➡️Brown beef with red pepper flakes and Italian seasoning
➡️Once beef is cooked through, add the marinara sauce and black beans.
➡️Fill the peppers with the marinara mixture and bake for 25 minutes ➡️Saute the tomatoes and onion while the peppers cook
➡️Top the peppers with the onion and tomatoes, sprinkle with cheese and broil until cheese is browned
➡️Serve topped with some microgreens and a side salad

I have basically eaten the same 4 small meals every day for the past month in a bid to reduce my inflammation levels however a hospital appt last week revealed they have climbed higher still so today I decided, ya know what, I deserve a treat. My body deserves a treat.
So I made the family banana oatmeal pancakes with @coyo_organic nutmeg vanilla bean ice cream and pure maple syrup for lunch
(admittedly it's still pretty clean because the ice cream contains coconut rather than cane sugar 🤫)
Oh my goodness, I am stuffed.
I am satisfied.

When I'm hungry. I want to eat and I hate making meals that take forever. If I don't have anything prepped in the fridge than I go for something that takes 5 - 10 mins to prepare. 
Healthy eating doesn't have to be complicated. Don't reach for processed crappy food when you can make something that's easy, tastes great and is good for you. .

Got home famished so I mashed up an avocado, mixed it with tuna, added some black pepper, paprika & Frank's red hot buffalo wing sauce ( I put that shit on everything lol)...toasted 2 pieces of flax seed bread...spread it on with some sweet mustard...

Couper en deux les aubergines, les entailler, parsemer d’épices sel et poivre, enfourner une 30aine de minutes à 180° (jusqu’à ce que la chaire soit tendre et le dessus grillé).
