So after completely binge watching @rickygervais #AfterLife I feel like I just want to share from my side that grief is just unfuckingbearable somedays, other days you can just about cope and some days you just don’t want to deal. I know the impact this type of tragedy has had on my dad after losing his wife of over 20 years to secondary breast cancer and to my brother and I after we had to say goodbye to the one person who brought us in to this beautiful world.
It’s not a walk in the park, you can’t just ‘get over it’ there is no time frame that can be set to make sure you are ‘happy’ again, the best advice I have to give anyone suffering is please try to learn to live your life a different way without that person who meant so much to you, it can even take a while to acknowledge that in itself so take all the time you need to get there!
This is the last picture I have of my mumma bear and I together, I look gorgeous with that nasty spot on my chin but you know what that’s the type of shit everyone in this world needs to get over! So take all the bloody pictures you can with your loved ones if you have a full face of make up or not because one day you may be wishing you’d just taken that god damned picture!
Thanks from the bottom of my heart for this series @rickygervais because I feel you have helped a lot of people suffering and my Dad being one of them
