Still my favourite room in the house, and one of the last places we still have to decorate. It's funny how you just fall into the room and make of it what you can. The biggest change in here was a wood burner, which we LOVE, along with our oak shelving (we got the wood from a shop in Leeds for free) our fabulous antique rug, and my most wanted, for several years, George Nelson large bubble lamp. Eventually we might paint this room bright blue, but for now, we enjoy it as it is.
My partner is the woodworker who has completed all the structural/wood work in here @seaholmewoodworks . He did our shelves, exposed our fireplace, made the plywood hexagon table and plywood bench to the left. We still have more projects in this room. (We need some shoe/coat storage near the door I think 🤔 and we have a dream of turning the wall to the right into a library wall with all of our books.) We also need some more hexagon tables to tessellate too.
