Finally got on the #zadiejumpsuit bandwagon! I am a bit late to the party, but only because I was trying to prioritize my very ambitious yearly sewing plan while I was sewing this, I had the impression I sort of butchered the pattern: I wanted a sleeveless jumpsuit, but after altering the shoulders I realized there was a lot of gaping (aka side boob). I then had to take in the side seams quite significantly, and add a second pleat to the pants to compensate (of course, this happened after I had already sewn the pockets). Despite all this, it was a very quick made, and I totally get all the hype. As usual, @paper_theory nails the "impactful but not insanely complex". I totally get the hype. This is a very flattering design, and can easily transition from day to night depending on the choice of fabric...or, why not, be a secret pajamas!
I made a straight size 8, and apart from the above mentioned mods I did not change anything else.
Fabric is Tencel Twill from @kiji_yamatomi. I purchased 14 meters of it (what can I say, I love a good wholesaler!) and am running out of things to do! I made two jumpsuits already, plus an endless number of boxers for Husband-san.
This is my third and finally (hopefully, you never know!) entry for #sewtogetherforsummer hosted by @rocco.sienna @sewing_in_spain and @sewsarahsmith - 58 minutes ago
