Ever felt like you just can't achieve that "balance" we all strive for?🏼
🏼This word “balance” gets super thrown around, but I have realized it isn't really a real thing.
🏼At least, I don't think it means the same thing for everyone.
🏼For example, do you ever feel like you literally can’t keep up in life?
Between work, relationships, laundry, keeping your house clean, dishes, for you momma's, your kids, a social life! 🙃
Some days I am like, what the heck, am i cut out for life? I can barely keep up with myself & my husband?! 🤣
There never will be a perfect balance of it all in life & that is okay.
🏼We pick and choose what are our priorities & we MAKE time for those things.
I feel, at this point I have achieved a place where I am very fulfilled in the aspects I want to be, and to me that is “balance”, but it looks different in my life than it will to you. 🏼
🏼I have 3 main priorities in my life, those being my family, business and my health.
I sacrifice other things to keep these things most thriving...because they are MOST important to me.
Maybe for you it is family, social life and experiences that are your 3 priorities.
🏼But that is the beauty of life, you CHOOSE & you get to own those choices.
🏼One thing I do know is, whatever we do choose to prioritize, there will always be something that isn’t “equal to it” in our lives and that is OKAY.
When we choose to prioritize our HEALTH for example, that can mean prioritizing or "choosing" a quick 20 min home workout rather than sitting and watching Netflix at night.🏋🏽♀️
“Balance” in ALL things, is not really achievable, but SACRIFICING some things to achieve what you want in other areas is a realistic way of thinking about it.
🏼🏼🏼Anytime you really want something, you end up sacrificing something else, whether big or small.
