Always give your 100% Most people tend to struggle with the above sentence. “I’m not feeling strong today” OR “I’m not feeling well” OR “I just can’t be bothered”. The thing is, that isn’t the point of the statement. It’s about bringing your 100% of whatever you have on that day, at that time.
What does this mean? It means that there will be days where your energy levels may only be at 70%, and you bring that full 70% to your session and give it everything you got. It’s not a wasted session, and sometimes you may even surprise yourself.
This exact situation happened to me recently. I was feeling off, was quite ill the day before and not wanting to train but my goals kept me wanting to give it a shot with whatever energy I had. I surprised myself by not only completing my workout with progression in the weights but I also managed to hit a new PB in my deadlifts since my knee injury and subsequent surgery! In fact, I’m now 10kg away from my overall PB! 🏋️♀️🏋️♀️ Never give up, never give in and always put in your 100% no matter what. - 59 minutes ago
