➳ Adventure ready!
Lately we’ve been talking about walking the walk vs. talking the talk. For instance, if we care about the planet, should we use a vehicle that gets lower gas mileage for our adventures? Well, there are trade-offs to everything. We’ve encountered environmentalists who don’t believe in generators or using any source of fuel for energy, and others who drive trucks for utilitarian purposes but never use plastic. There’s a lot of room in between. We’re interested in sharing those moderate lifestyle changes, because they really do add up when we do them together as a collective!
In our last post, we were challenged publicly about posting a picture of me in wildflowers, but the point of the post was to encourage people to read our blog so they can learn how to get shots like that without damaging the environment. In the end, we had a great message exchange with someone who holds a different opinion from our own, and we’re grateful for that in a time when it seems like the art of respectfully disagreeing has disappeared. What unites us, is that we care about the environment, and to us, that’s always a beautiful thing. 🌎
Thank you to those of you who reached out to us to show your support and the many of you who said things like “people who follow you know that you care about the environment.” It truly means so much to us to hear that we do have a positive impact through what we share here. Thanks for wandering with us! ️
☞ If you read all this, thank you...and what are your thoughts about how to make meaningful change for the planet?
