Worries go down well with kebabs!
Tried this amazing succulent kebabs from the infamous Ghalib Kebabs.
Location: Ghalib Kebabs, Nizamuddien Dargah, Delhi
The place has been around dargah for a good 45 years now and is famous for their juicy and meaty kebabs. Amongst kebabs, they also serve biryani, stew, qorma and some curries accompanied with roomali roti.
Shami kebab, originated in Indian subcontinent is a small patty of finely minced meat and in it is used egg for binding along with ground aromatic indian spices. And it is then roasted giving it a crusty and crispy texture on the outside and soft on the inside but trick is to keep the inside part moist as well and Ghalib saab does that well here and texture of the kebabs was totally melt in mouth and nicely seasoned meat with garam masala mostly and it tasted hot.
The kebabs were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and complemented the two very different textures beautifully.
Seekh kebab another delicacy from Indian subcontinent tasted amazingly well too and was totally melt in mouth but it was given a fiery red color which was not original or completely because of the spices. It had a bundle of indian flavors from coriander taste to it to the garam masalas, it was quite distinctive and kebabs were very meaty and juicy.
Both of the dishes are a must try and give a tough competition to Qureshi Kebabs in Jama Masjid.
The place has also been awarded for best kebabs by @itcmaurya
When in Nizamuddien, this dish is highly recommended.
