How do we let go of the dead.
Some people die at old age. We know it’s coming for them. We had a lot of time to prepare. And when they go we know it’s good. Their bodies and minds don’t work as well and to stick around much longer is more painful for them and us then the reality of death anymore. But some people die early. Some die young. Some very young even. These are the unexpected deaths. We had no chance to prepare. Their bodies and minds were still in a state of the living. When they go it feels like someone reached inside your rib cage and ripped out your heart while it was still beating.
For the ones who die “normal” we cry and hold service and remember in words and pictures. We let go more easily and resume life without too much lapse. But for these others. The ones who die before we had a chance to say all the things we should have said. Perhaps the mourning looks the same. But the inner turmoil rages on long after the service has ended and the body has been disposed of. How do we let go of them. The ones who we were supposed to still have lifetimes left to take for granted and be annoyed with?
Today is the birthday of @sociallysteve he’s dead. We cried and held service and a year and a half later I still wonder where he is. His energy was alive. Where does one go when they die like this? We can’t know. We can never know.
Missing this old place I used to call home. Where everything that was my life is now gone completely. Dead or burned. No one living in the same houses. Not even any baby pictures of me left in the world. These last few years have been the ultimate test of letting go. I have definitely learned my lesson. Don’t hold on to begin with. Then there will never be anything to let go of. This is freedom.
Sending cyber birthday love to a human I know who exists now only in energy. Ultimate freedom. He was born on the day of the bold one. If only he could see me now.

You can feel it coming.
Signs you can't deny anymore.
The core of your soul calling you...inviting you...To listen, to hear, to see more clearly.
Are you ready to let go and to dive in?
Are you ready to be completely honest with yourself and to acknowledge where you're still holding on to somebody or something and where you're still compromising in your Truth?
The best thing to do is to surrender and to let the process happen.
The process of death & rebirth
