I finally finished this book and I highly recommend it. _‌Глубокая лимбическая система, расположенная в центральных областях мозга, выполняет связующие функции и отвечает за наше настроение. Связь этой системы с другими областями мозга во многом определяет нашу "человечность". Однако когда в ней возникают какие-либо нарушения, это приводит к подавленности и негативизму.
_ ‌Базальные ганглии, крупные образования в недрах мозга, отвечают за состояние нашего организма при минимуме активности. Когда эта область мозга работает в чрезмерно напряжённом режиме, это может привести к возникновению тревожности, панических страхов, пугливости и стремлению избегать любых конфликтов.
_ ‌Префронтальная кора, расположенная в самой передней части мозга, - наш контролер. Эта область отвечает за способность сосредотачиваться, планировать, управлять импульсами и принимать решения - удачные и неудачные. При сниженной функции префронтальной коры возникают трудности с самоконтролем, а также значительные проблемы с сохранением концентрации внимания, способностью сосредоточиться, с организованностью и доведением дела до конца. ‌_Поясная система - это участок, расположенный продольно по средней части фронтальных долей мозга. Я бы назвал его своего рода "коробкой скоростей". Он отвечает за переключение внимания с одной мысли на другую и за смену настроений. При гиперактивности этой части мозга возникает фиксация на мысли или типе поведения. 
_ ‌Височные доли головного мозга, расположенные в височных областях и в области глазниц, отвечают за память, распознавание языков, узнавание лиц и контроль над эмоциями. Когда в этой области возникают нарушения, особенно в левой теменной доле, человек становится вспыльчивым, склонным к быстрой смене настроений, у него возникают проблемы с запоминанием и обучением.

This morning I had a rather chatty mind, having a new practice to focus my attention was just what the doctor ordered.

An interesting book in general, you might find yourself described in this book and it might help save your life.

Good stuff: Logic and knowledgeable. In this book, Dr. Amen points out that the human brain can tell us all sort of information we need to know, just try to find and compare a healthy and stressed/damaged brain in the web and see for yourselves. The brain SPECT can show us explanations of many behaviors, which for the longest time, were believed as psychological problems. The truth is, a person can cause harm to one self without even notice it because of accidents (think of any accidents that involve your head shifting too fast causing the tofu-like brain move and hit the interior skull bone), drugs (even nail polish prolonged inhalation counts as drugs damage), and alcohol (children and grandchildren of alcoholics might suffer weak brains as consequences). And as a result, the brain couldn't function well and one's personality would change dramatically. So after all, these are just neglected physical brain issues that can be fixed if diagnosed right in the beginning.

Cons: Too much information. The book dived deep into each and every types of brain issues that existed (or maybe most of it). Hence, you might only find one chapter that applicable to your situation but again, proper treatment will involve some prescriptions that you wouldn't be able to prescribe yourself, so a visit to his clinic is required (Dr. Amen claims that he has over a thousand clinics all over the world, so check it out and good luck)

Just last week i listened to a lecture by @amenclinic Dr Daniel Amen about how to measure and improve our brain health using scans and natural methods. It’s so interesting and makes so much sense. There is a problem with buying dried oregano.  There was an investigation by Professor Chris Elliott in 2015.  He is the director of the Institute for Global Food Security.  19 out of 78 samples contained ingredients such as olive and myrtle leaves. This week’s blog: Can you really change your brain? Dr. Caroline Leaf in her book Switch on Your Brain and Dr. Daniel Amen in his book Change Your Brain, Change Your Life say you can. Changing your brain is called neuroplasticity or brain plasticity. I briefly mentioned neuroplasticity last week in the blog on happiness. I talked about changing the fixed point of happiness in our brains. Our brain can “reorganize itself by forming new neural connections throughout life. Neuroplasticity allows the neurons [nerve cells] in the brain to compensate for injury or disease and to adjust their activities in response to new situations or to changes in their environment” (medicinenet.com). A jak to wygląda z twoim mózgiem, jest szczęśliwy czy raczej nieszczęśliwy?😃 Ein sehr interessantes Buch mit vielen wertvollen Tipps wie man sein Gehirn heilen kann, sich von Ängsten, Depressionen etc befreien kann und somit eine bessere Qualität des Lebens erschaffen kann.

Bardzo ciekawa pozycja zawierająca dużo praktycznych wskazówek jak uleczyć swój mózg, pozbyć się depresji, lęków etc. i w konsekwencji polepszyć jakość swojego życia.

Closing the loop!!!
I am realizing I have books and ideas and projects left unfinished all around my house. Our brains like when we complete something and move on, otherwise it’s sort of an open circle that wants to be closed.

The biggest reason for WHY @brainfoodbyliva was created was to literally SAVE the new generation. And to do so, I have to work with parents first. It all starts from us. All of it. People (not everywhere, thankfully) are much sicker than ever and feels like not getting much smarter as well, correct me if I'm wrong. And the speed in which A.I. is evolving is insane (btw, if you have not seen Joe Rogan and Elon Musk interview - it's a must see, loved every second of it). We should be growing like crazy and keep it up with A.I. as much as possible, not the opposite! 
BTW, I'm soooo grateful for people around me, who are truly doing so!! Love you guys so much!! ❤️🙏 Please, choose your (and your kids) circle wisely, that's where you can start!

Very good read, especially if you are interested in taking care of your brain as much as your body.  With so many diagnosis in our culture...anxiety, ADD, Bipar, depression, this book is an awareness that we arent always able to shut off our crazy without help.  I like to teaxh "know your crazy"  this book absolutely can assist with that.  Good stuff.

Ted talks. I love them. It’s always interesting to hear and think about different perspectives. These ones are my favourites. Esther Perel is brilliant, her main ted talk is not just about affairs it’s about anyone who has ever loved. If you’re bored check it out. Can’t hurt to learn new things. Es sind sehr viele Fallgeschichten mit in das Buch integriert. Wenn man es zusammenfassen möchte, ließe sich sagen, dass tatsächlich viele der Stoffwechselstörungen im Gehirn auf Kopfverletzungen zurückzuführen sind.
