Something that I tell my students constantly is to expect to be really bad at things when they first start learning something new. It’s something that I try to remind myself as well, but I have a harder time taking my own advice. Why is that? 🤷🏼♀️ Anyways, I’ve committed to the cycling portion of a triathlon this summer, which may not seem like a big deal, but to me it is. It’s been the perfect motivation to tighten up my diet and to get into a more focused fitness routine. It’s so nice to have an end goal that is not tied to a number on a scale.
