New Magazine Alert: Interweave Crochet Spring 2019
Calling all crocheters! We have a new magazine full of patterns that will help spice up your spring wardrobe and keep your crocheting adventurous.
The first set of patterns were inspired by cityscapes and travel adventures, called "Global Trotting." Patterns include
1️⃣ The Porto Top by Jill Hanratty. A lacy stitch tank top with open sides; perfect for adventures in warm climates this spring and summer.
2️⃣ Ferro Duster by Natasha Robarge. A long open cardigan featuring an intricate lace pattern (inspired by 19th century wrought iron architecture) that will help keep you cool as you're rushing from terminal to terminal or gate to gate.
3️⃣ Campo Vest by Arica Presinal. A vintage textured vest that earns a spot in your suitcase because it is extremely versatile. You can pair with your lucky jeans for your daily adventures and throw it over a dress for your dancing nights.
The second set of patterns were inspired by mermaids and include tops, capelets and scarves; beautiful and whimsical pieces.
1️⃣ The Beach Blouse by Michelle Moore (Sentry Box Designs), is an off the shoulder halter top with a tassel tie in the back. It has a shell stitch pattern featured through the blouse that is meant to mimic mermaid scales.
2️⃣ The Breakwater Wrap by Silke Terhorst is a wrap that is meant to channel open waves by "combining open meshwork with post stitches to create new rows of smooth waves that flow into one another." 3️⃣ The Atoll Scarf by Alla Koval, is crocheted in the round with open meshwork and diagonal ruffles to remind crocheters of the coral reefs.
