Post 100 - Wow! What a ride!
I’ll take this opportunity to document the Artlife Translations timeline until now and give shoutouts to the people who have helped me along the way.
Mid 2017: I was running after clients, sending chronological CVs to a million agencies, overdraft most months…
Oct 2017: I take part in @jenaespry ‘s fabulous mentoring program for translators ‘Success by Rx’, which I recommend 100%!
Nov 2017: The mentorship program allowed me to see I had to rebrand myself completely: My previous name, ‘LunaTranslations’ was already taken, meaning I couldn’t scale up.
Dec 2017: Intense brainstorming to find a name that was free and showed my specialisms.
I eventually settled for Artlife Translations and commissioned my good mate @benjaminpuddu to make my beautiful logo.
January to March 2018: Creating my website, updating all my online presence, making my chronological CV into a thematic CV, editing all business documents.
31st March 2018: Official relaunch.
So, it is my one-year anniversary as Artlife Translations!
And I think it’s safe to say I’ve changed mindset completely: I’m an entrepreneur providing premium language solutions to my soul clients in my soul niche: music and the arts.
January 2019, I decided to try to make Instagram work for me, as most of my clients reside in the art sphere and are visual people.
And the results are starting to show!
Bring on another year of living in my dream business.
Where were you in March last year?
