#worklifebalance wasn’t a phase I was familiar with before starting three completely different businesses.
There are 5 major areas that are important to me in my life:
1. My Faith
2. My Health
3. My Family and Relationships
4. My Work
5. Other interests, like hobbies, travel, adventure....
We all have our list.
Yet, how do you balance it all?
I’ve been reading a lot about the habits of highly successful people and although I’m completely impressed with their daily activity, the more I try to mirror them the more I feel like a complete failure.
Wake at 5:30am. Workout. Mediate. FOCUS ON SELF MASTERY!!! Cut out all social media! Sleep only 4-5 hours 🤯...and a hundred other things all before 9am that I’m super impressed with. 🥰
Yet, let’s be real here for a moment.
We are all going to do things different to balance our life. Would you agree?
I’ve decided recently to focus on the things that work for ME! MY LIFE. MY FAMILY! MY EVERYTHING!
Yes, I set goals, sacrifice, and work hard.
Yes, I make every bit of my human experience count.
Yes, I give more than I take.
Yes, I GIVE UP on what doesn’t work quickly.
Yes, I study life, learn from my mistakes, read, and always curious to try new things.
And this is what works for me today. Will it change?
And as I learn to juggle all the things..I hope you have the patience and forgiveness to understand that I’m going to drop the ball sometimes.
Yet I’m trying.
And because I will never stop trying I’m going to get better at this. 🏼
