TO WELCOME NEW YOU MUST LET GO OLD
Recently, I have been going through some significant shifts in both professional and personal life, consciously stretching myself outside of my comfort zone. ::
Despite all that, there are days when I feel stuck and go back to the old safe ways that do not serve me and are not aligned with my life vision. I have the awareness, but old conditioning is going strong. Last night, I was reflecting on my day: things that I handled well and some that I played safe and small, wondering why this is happening.
I asked myself a question I ask my clients a lot: Can you describe a similar challenge from your past that you dealt with successfully? What tools did you use? ::
I had no answer - duh! It was the wrong question (the light bulb went off)! I realized that where I am now, and the direction I desire to take in my life is entirely new to me, I have never been there before, I do not own this type of blueprint. The only way for me to get what I want is to start creating a brand new version of myself with new tools, habits, and courage to make the impact I wish to create. ::
The question I need to ask myself every day is: Who do I need to become to achieve my goals?
So here I am ultra aware, going against my old conditioning, creating new patterns, hoping they will bridge the gap between me & me 2.0.
I am curious! What challenges are you facing in life at the moment? Are you trying to fix them with the same, old tools you used for years? #mindbodyandpurpose #newhabits - 2 minutes ago
