This girl Where do I even begin?
This here is my friend, Christa. We "met" almost 4 years ago online in a fitness challenge group. We were both in similar seasons of life. Me, just starting out this new healthy lifestyle thing after having 2 baby girls 15 months apart & her, 4 months postpartum & looking to find herself again after struggling with PPD. We were both exhausted & living in a fog. We needed an outlet & we both dove in head first with a group of women that were then strangers, now friends. We would buddy up for accountability, support one another with kind words & and we would even compete with each other to win fun prizes & recognition. It was awesome
Fast forward a few months & we both took the plunge to become coaches & pay this feeling forward. I mean, who wouldn't want to help other Mama's feel comfortable in their skin, have more energy to play with their kiddos & fuel their body in a healthy, yet still delicious way? It was a no-brainer. We joined forces to start running our own groups & that's where the magic really began
From day one, I always knew there was something special about Christa. Her energy was contagious. She had a heart of gold. She was a leader. She would set goals & crush them. She would support every person that joined our tribe & she always made them feel special & welcomed. There were times when I needed her to pick up my slack & without question, she always did 👭
And, because of all these great attributes & the amazing person & coach that she is, Christa resigned from her position as school counselor last week to become a full time, SAHM, Momboss!! My heart exploded when I heard she'd have the opportunity to walk her sweet boy into preschool next year, which has been on her vision board for awhile. This coaching biz is legit, you guys. If you're willing to lead with your heart & share this gift, the sky is the limit
Although I have only met Christa a few times in person, I can tell you that she is a part of my everyday life & I am a better person because of her. I could not be more proud of her accomplishments or more grateful for our friendship! Can't wait to watch where this journey takes you, Mama - 23 hours ago
