Do Carbohydrates makes you FAT?!

FYI, Carbohydrates are one of the 3 macronutrients. They should be body’s main source of energy in a healthy, balanced diet providing about 4 kcal/gram.

Not only Carbs, but any food will make you gain weight, if you OVER-EAT!! Whether your diet is high in fat or high in carbs, if you frequently consume more energy than your body uses , you’re likely to gain weight. Relatable??

Carbs are not evil. They don’t make you fat. Infact, you can lose body fat while being on a high carb diet( make sure you are eating a bit less that your maintenance calories). Moreover, carbs will help in improving your energy levels and atheletic performance at the same time.

DAILY WEIGHT FLUCTUATIONS ⁉️

As a lot of you are worried about suddenly your weight increases one day and the other day decreases. This is called β€˜Daily Weight Fluctuation’ and it’s completely normal. The changes are mostly due to fluids and salt. Temporarily changes are due to constipation, exercises, food, hormones, medications, salt and water.Eating , drinking, urinationg, having a bowel movement and exercises, all can impact your body’s composition and hence your body weight. REMEMBER! True weight gain/loss takes time.

Whey protein is the protein contained in whey, when milk is processed to form cheese or yogurt, the remaining liquid is whey that is dried to powder form and used as protein supplement.

Is it MANDATORY to add whey protein to your diet? .
➑️ If you are consuming an adequate diet that has proper array of carbs, proteins and fats, you are fine. A potential reason to to supplement with a β€˜Protein Powder’ is that you are not intaking enough protein from whole food.
➑️ Although whey protein contains incredible range of amino acids which are absorbed quickly, I would highly recommend to get most of your nutrients from whole food. .

There are more myths related to weight loss and fitness than any other area. Don't be misguided. Evidence shows that you can't lose belly fat by exercising your abs alone. For fat loss, use a combination of aerobic exercise and resistance training, such as lifting weights.
