走り始めて1マイルぐらいしたところで下腹部にかなりの痛みが発生したので、距離は諦めて心肺機能と大腿筋の強化に目的を切り替え、有酸素運動ゾーンの心拍数とにらめっこしながら30分ガシガシと傾斜付きパワーウォーク。最近距離の走り込みばかりやっていたので久しぶりの大臀筋強化ウォーク。BOSUボールサーキットも下半身重視だったので、走れなかったとはいえ充実&納得のワークアウト!💪 #物事の明るい面を見る

Workouts complete!!!
I worked on legs and cardio today! 
For legs I did: 
Squats - 3 sets of 15 with 25lb dumbbells 
RDL pulses- 3 sets of 15 with 25lb dumbbells 
Curtsy lunges- 3 sets of 15 with 25lb dumbbells(each leg) 
Goblet squat pulses- 3 sets of 70 with 25Ib dumbbells 
For cardio I did: 
5 min running, 5 min on stationary bike with 5 minute warm up for 45 minutes!! Wooooo what an awesome workout! Time to rest up for tomorrow! Keep pushing guys! We got this!💪🏼🌼

Everyday workout 8! The blog post for the 7th workout is up, I briefly discussed why dumbbell overhead press is one of our focuses and why it’s a terrific exercise overall! Anyway, this week we will stick with the same weight from last week(so don’t increase). So u know, I will specify when to add weight to a specific movement when we get there in this program.. slow but steady👌. To reiterate, u don’t need to go at the pace I show, if u need to repeat workouts to do all the work I suggest doing so. Also I started w/ 10 ibs but the starting point is arbitrary. Whether it’s 10,5,3,2 doesn’t matter much idea is moving, getting started and progressing overtime! This workout focus was on back+biceps. We r introducing calf raises hooray! Calf’s aren’t a priority for a general training program but hitting them 2-3x a week at least for a few sets is good👌, so going forward we will include some calf work🙂. As always perform the exercises in a circuit. Rest 20 sec between movements, rest 2 mins between rounds, perform 2 rounds. (2 sets of each exercise). The workout: 
1. RDL’s 15 reps
2. Bent over rows 9 reps
3. Bodyweight squats 15 reps
4. Back extension 7 reps
5. Alternating row from floor 7 reps
6. Plank in push up position 25 seconds
7. Hammer+biceps curl 6 reps of each
8. Walking calf raises 5 reps each leg
9. Shrugs 9 reps

Conditioning circuits are a vital part of my training routine, with low rest periods and intense work intervals. Gotta test the body and mind and see what it’s capable of! Hard work always pays off! - battle rope/burpees partner combo! 30sec/30sec

- 100 single unders - resistance band lateral shuffle dynomax ball chest pass
4 rounds minimum. 60-90 sec rest between rounds.

🤸‍♂️ Bodyweight Workout 🤸‍♂️ I did this awesome bodyweight conditioning circuit this morning. All you need is your bodyweight, a pull up bar, a skipping rope and 15-20 minutes of your day. 👌

These types of workouts are my go to when I don't have a lot of spare time to get a workout in but they are so fun and effective as well. 🔥

Complete 10 rounds of this circuit as quickly as you can. There is no scheduled rest, only rest when you need to. Record your time and then try to beat that time the next time you do the workout:

10 hanging knee raises
10 jumping lunges
10 push ups

🤸‍♂️ Bodyweight Workout 🤸‍♂️ I did this awesome bodyweight conditioning circuit this morning. All you need is your bodyweight, a pull up bar, a skipping rope and 15-20 minutes of your day. These types of workouts are my go to when I don't have a lot of spare time to get a workout in but they are so fun and effective as well. Complete 10 rounds of this circuit as quickly as you can. Today’s workout broke me in half and beat me with my own legs! Managed three rounds, started the fourth but then I started getting dizzy. My guess is the cold weather made it easier. Now that it’s hot again, I’ll need to readjust to rapidly dehydrating and spiking my body temperature. Afterwards I lifted but felt like a cop out. Onwards and upwards !

Here is a great upper body workout demonstrated by my client Allen White.  He’s been training with me for a few years. His goal is to increase his strength and speed, and that’s what we’ve done. Allen is an avid runner competing in 5 & 10k’s and marathons.  He usually wins or finishes in the top of his age group. Looking at him and watching him workout you would never believe he’s 70 years old!!
He is proof it’s never too late to start working out!!

1. Track your activity. Shoot to take at least 10,000 steps per day. StepBet is a good tool for motivation because you win money for meeting your step goals!

2. Embrace the weight room. Carrie Underwood’s trainer recently posted a funny meme that said: “Not lifting weights because you are afraid of looking like a body builder is like not driving your car because you fear becoming a NASCAR driver.”

3. Cheat in moderation. Your ultimate goal should be to live the healthiest life you actually enjoy living. Scheduling time when you can eat whatever you want is a good psychological break from your weight-loss journey. Just remember to cheat in moderation so that it doesn’t derail your entire plan.

3 sets of 12 reps for every movement.... except the air squats, 100 reps of those (you can split into 5 sets of 20) .

- Leg press. Feet high and wide.
.
- Cable glute kickbacks.

- Elevated sumo squat, weighted.
.
. - “Drinking bird” aka single leg deadlifts, weighted.

- Seated calf raises. .

- Single leg body weight hip thrusts.

First picture is a 1 egg + 2 egg white scramble with sautéed veggies, avocado, and fruit! If you cook the veggies and eggs on the same pan, this takes only 10 minutes with very little clean up!!! -

The second picture is a piece of avocado toast sprinkled with chia seeds (optional) paired with an egg scramble and tomatoes! Also made under 10 minutes! -

Breakfasts are so important in kickstarting your metabolism in the morning! Keep them simple, full of protein, carbs, fats, and plenty of micronutrients!! -
