Starting 2027, I will begin my campaign to run as the Nassau county executive. The role of the position is listed below:
The Nassau County Executive, elected countywide to a four-year term, is the chief administrator of county government, responsible for law enforcement, planning, consumer protection, roads, parks and recreation facilities, all other services provided by the county, and preparation of the county budget. With the approval of the Nassau County Legislature, the executive appoints commissioners and directors of departments and agencies. The executive is responsible for managing the day-to-day affairs of the county and also for planning prudently for its future.
I will go at all costs to distinguish myself from your common local politician. If your common local politician is asked “would you raise taxes for this important objective”, they will say yes, regardless of their political stance. If your local politician is asked “Will you continue prohibition, and continue to arrest citizens of the county for victimless crimes?”, they will say yes. The people are being manipulated.
My answer to such a question is,
why is government in charge of such an objective?
These people can’t even run the damn post office!
As a county executive, my objective for Nassau County would be to lower age limits back to 18, for all current legal substances. It’s not the government’s role to discipline people for victimless crimes, that is up to the parents. Stop letting the government steal your children away for smoking pot! It’s your responsibility responsibility, you straighten out your children. You need to think about how irresponsible it is- to delegate the government the obligation of disciplining your children. You’re giving them away!
Secondly, we will start a program to slowly reduce the funding of public schools. This will ease us into a transition of privatization of the education sector. For once in a long time, you will actually see your taxes come down, and your freedom to choose the education for your child appear.
We must also reduce zoning laws. Look around you, look how many businesses are selling out! Centralization does not work!!!! - 7 hours ago
