I am linking to a video by Hannah Williams from BuzzFeed where she talks about her Miscarriage. It is a video full of raw emotions and I think it was amazing of her to post and talk about it.
I had a miscarriage. Maybe you have had a miscarriage. I know many amazing women in my life who have had a miscarriage. You probably know a few women in your life that have had a miscarriage.
I am not alone.
You are not alone.
They are not alone.
Miscarriage awareness needs to become more mainstream, as nobody talks about it, and we should be talking about it.
The guilt, shame, self blame, and even sometimes embarrassment from having a miscarriage is something we shouldn't feel, yet we still do.
It wasn't my fault that I had a miscarriage, or your fault for having one, or their faults either.
It is ok to talk about it, and to grieve it for as long as you need to. I know I am still grieving mine, and that's ok. Each day has it's up's and downs, but I get through it, and so will you
I see you, and you are amazing. : https://youtu.be/bw-DaU90gQo : LittleOakStudios on Etsy - 4 hours ago
