Tb snap from Friday nights dinner... End of week whatever's in the fridge curry, and it never disappoints. Chickpea and veggie curry with poppadoms and rice for Mr B 🍛🍛🍛🍛🍛🍛🍛🍛 Recipe ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️
Tbsp olive oil 
1 Can of chickpeas rinsed and drained
2 small white onions diced
1 large red onion diced
2 garlic cloves peeled and grated
2 large celery sticks sliced
1 large red pepper diced
1 Tbsp garram masala
1 Tsp paprika
1 Tsp smoked paprika
1 Tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp chilli flakes
1/2 tsp ground coriander
400ml water
180 ml soy cream
Large pinch of salt and pepper

Method
Heat the oil in a large pan. Add the onions and garlic and sweat for 4 minutes. Add pepper and celery and cook for further 3 or 4 minutes. Add the chickpeas and water and bring to the boil. Add the spices. Stir in the cream, and bring to the boil. Season to taste. Simmer for approximately 20 minutes.

Today for lunch I had another big bowl of food. It was so yummy!

This is the second time we've been and the Lebanese restaurant doesn't fail to impress.
We took the hummus, Jewaneh Meshawi (chicken wings marinaded in harissa), Nakaneek (charcoal grilled Lebanese sausage) and lamb shawarma.

Chickpea and Avocado Toast🥑
Oven Roasted Curried Chickpeas that are to die for🤤
White Bread this morning because I was out last night and I need 😍 Simplistic Breakfast with a oomf!

➡️Chickpea Recipe:
1. On a sheet pan place half a tin of chickpeas with olive oil. 
2. Season heavily with Salt, Pepper and Curry powder. Shake the pan to make sure all the chickpeas are covered.
3. Roast in an oven at 200 degrees for 10 mins. Serve on toast or as a snack.

😍 #foodie endlich hab ich auch eine #coconutbowl hab die günstig auf dem Tollwood gefunden. Heute gab es wieder Kichererbsen Fusili. Ich hab Butter in einer Pfanne zum schmelzen gebracht und Shrimps sowie Salbei von meinem Balkon dazu gegeben und die Nudeln als diese durch waren. Das ganze noch gewürzt. Salbei ist gut gegen graue Haare, sehr gesund für die Zähne und enthält keinen Cholesterin. Dafür ist er aber sehr reich an Vitaminen vor allem Vitamin C, aber auch B3 und ist voller Mineralstoffe enthalten. Kalzium, Kalium, Magnesium sowie Eisen. Have you ever tried white corn yet? 🤔

I never knew that there is such thing as a white corn until yesterday. 🌽 I  was shocked when my mom bought me white corns. But they are exceptionally sweet! They are much smaller then there yellow relative, but much sweeter 😁 This finding proves that eating plants will not be boring as u can taste and try new varieties of plants 😉

In my plate : 
Protein - peanut butter chickpeas 
Carbs - white corn 🌽
Micronutrients - butterhead lettuce and stir fry turnips + carrots 
Fats - a dollop of homemade guacamole 🥑

Boerenbeschuit met houmous.
Tapas pimiente de padron. 
De Spaanse pepers zijn niet pikant en zijn in Spanje heel populair op de Tapasmenu. Ik vond ze bij @lidlbelgium en bakte ze gewoon in een pan met beetje olijfolie tot ze wat verkleurd en verschrompeld zijn. Voor het serveren bestrooi je ze met grof zeezout. 
Voor de houmous gebruiken we de mini blender en mixen we 215g kikkererwten, 12g tahini sesampasta, 110g Griekse yoghurt 0%, peper zout lookpoeder en komijn. Smeer de pasta op 2 donker volkoren boerenbeschuit van #bolletje en garneer met kerstomaatjes, schijfjes radijs en enkele stipjes #sriracha pikante saus. 
Simpel, snel klaar en originele zondagse lunch.
