How do you prepare your head and heart? .
The first part of this quote is by Louis Pasteur. He was suggesting that practice and consistency can shape our mind, creating conditions where we flourish and find ourselves prepared for opportunities as well as challenges. Read, study, notice. Show up fully. We are not simply pawns in this lifetime, but we can actually have an effect on our own “luck.”
The second part is by our friend and teacher Moses Brown. Taking it one step further, what does a prepared heart mean? What if we show up, practice, study and share our experiences from a place of deep devotion and love? Grace is this ever-flowing energy that connects us to a place of limitless bliss. Self-study, meditation and pranayama can profoundly effect and nourish our heart and provide us with a real strength that goes subtly deeper and deeper. How does that change the way you view life? There’s a bit of magic here. And it’s beautiful.
