In 2013, I had the chance to go for a wildlife safari with a group of strangers. I took my camera along with me as it was the only thing that would keep me busy.
There was a photographer with us and he taught me how to click photos. At the start of this journey, I hated it, but then when I look back at it, I think that it was the best decision because I took a lot of pictures and I was enjoying every second of it.
I joined a photography club in college, and I was known to be “The Photographer”. I also got an opportunity to work with Urban Clap to shoot testimonials. Soon, I started taking up other shoots & wedding contracts.
Since taking up photography professionally I have become aware of things such as
managing a business, marketing it and most importantly making it into a success.
I am passionate about bikes and cars. And the car wash business is unconventional in India and most importantly 90% of its users are unsatisfied with the service they are getting, that’s when I thought of having my own startup Clean My Car, a waterless monthly door to door car wash service catered to the needs of the end user.
The challenge here is that is completely different than my previous work but that’s the real deal, you face that challenge and you learn and that’s how you move ahead.
As for photography? It’s the one thing that you can't take away from me, as when I go out I still look for subjects, I still don’t mind lying on the floor to get that perfect shot, I still don’t mind talking to strangers, I still don’t mind taking risks, I still don’t mind being deeply passionate about this art which makes me forget everything and makes me live in that moment. - 32 minutes ago
