60 DAYS
My buddy @jimmyfowlie had a TV gig that he needed quick change for. We immediately put him on my Custom Carb Cycle Meal Plan and total body, fat burning sessions. We used heavy lbs (but had to avoid gaining too much size). He emerged leaner and gained defined lean muscle!  More importantly he feels stronger and has re-ignited his personal workouts! 🔥I’m so proud of this stud. He is not only a great client but a great student!  Plus he’s funny as fuck! #BodybyBrowning

I can’t believe these pictures were taken less than 3 months apart. 😳 
Vacations used to be a slippery slope for me. I would use it as an excuse to eat whatever I wanted. Disney is great because it makes you feel like you’re out of reality, but that also led to a lot of binge eating for me. Since starting @thetransformapp , I have learned so much about proper nutrition and having a balanced diet. I’ve been to Disney 4 times (and a on a couple other vacations) since starting my transformation in January and I’ve managed to stay within my macros or go barely over each time. And in the cases I did go over I didn’t beat myself up about it or let it crush my spirits. It’s helped me learn that you don’t have to choose between fun and a healthy lifestyle. Instead of having *all* the treats now, I limit myself to what I can have within my macros. And to my surprise, food isn’t as big a part of the Disney experience as I used to think. It’s almost better now because I have just as much fun without the food guilt after 😉 
If anyone is looking for tips on eating while traveling, message me! I’ve pretty much got the routine down now 👍🏼 I’ll be back at Disney in a week, and not having to worry about slipping up is a great feeling.

Are you over exercising? I was working out for close to an hour, 6-7 days a week and not seeing any progress.

Now I workout for 25-30 minutes, 5 days per week and have seen more progress in the last 6 months than I have in years.

Rest is the second most important component of the FASTer Way to Fat Loss and for good reason. Our bodies need rest in order to recover.

My WONDERFUL roommate made this delicious #sheetpandinner since I was sick today. @aidellssausage chicken and apple sausage, veggies, and roasted potatoes! I’ve found that coating the potatoes followed by avocado oil and then dusted with arrowroot powder makes the potatoes toasted and crispy. So yummy! •

What type of filling do you like? You’re looking at Stuffed Potato Cakes 🧁 Incredibly juicy that you won’t get tired of it 💕 -
Recipe
Dough:
1 kg potatoes
80 g white rice flour (1/2 cup)
40 g cornstarch or tapioca flour (1/3 cup)
salt, pepper, nutmeg (to taste)
Filling:
250 g mushrooms, sliced (about 3 cups)
1/2 of a zucchini, diced
1 onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, diced
2 cloves of garlic, minced
salt & pepper to taste
spice mix: 1 tsp Italian spice blend, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp cumin, 1/4 red pepper flakes
Additional ingredients:
oil for frying
vegan cheese to taste

Instructions
Dough:
Peel potatoes, cut into small pieces and cook in salted water for about 20 minutes.
Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg and mash them with a potato masher. (@elavegan suggest to not use a food processor, otherwise, the mashed potatoes will be sticky).
Allow the mashed potatoes to cool (in the meantime you can prepare the filling), then add flour and cornstarch and mix well with a spoon or your hands.

Filling:
Chop the veggies, fry the onion in a pan with a little bit oil for about 3-4 minutes, add the mushrooms, garlic, and also the diced peppers and the zucchini. Sauté everything for a couple of minutes, season with salt, pepper, and the spice mix.
Split the dough into 8 parts (about 1/2 cup or 120 g each). Form into balls, make a well in the middle and add about one and a half tablespoons of the filling. You can also add some vegan cheese in addition. Carefully "seal" the balls with a little bit more dough and flatten them slightly to make them look like thick pancakes.
Heat approximately 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and fry the potato cakes at medium heat until golden brown on both sides. They will be crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. If you want them to be slightly more crunchy, you can bake them additionally for about 20 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit in the oven. Enjoy!

So remember that time my vet told us Zealand needed to lose a few? Well, when she told us that, she asked if we were measuring out his food? I said yes, very confidently. She kind of looked perplexed as if she wondered if we reaaaally were measuring his food or not. 🤔

I was using a scooper that had measurement lines on the inside of the scooper to measure his food to 1 and 1/3 cup. After the vet visit I went home and used a 1 cup measuring cup and a 1/3 measuring cup and measured his food in those and dumped those into the lined scooper I had been using. To my surprise the food I measured was well below the 1 and 1/3 cup line in the scooper. 😲🙄☹️ Meaning we HAD been over feeding him without even realizing it! Because we thought we WERE feeding him 1 and 1/3 cups but in reality it was close to 1 and 1/2 cups! Meaning he was eating .34 cups MORE than he should have each day!! (because we feed him twice a day)

How does this story relate to you and I? Well, depending on the way you like to measure your food could determine on how fast or slow you progress and can determine if you’ll hit your predicted weekly loss. eyeballing it < measuring cups < kitchen scale This is also good to note when you think you should have progressed one week but end up plateauing, look to see how accurate your measuring was that week?

Ps, Zealand has lost 8-9lb the last 6 months because we started measuring his food a lot more accurately! Now he’s at a healthy weight for his frame. 🤗

It's TREAT DAY 🍩🍫🍰🍧🍦 (otherwise know as Donut Day in the #fasterwaytofatloss community 😂)
I cannot emphasise enough how important it is to allow yourself to enjoy food! 
The diet industry would like us to believe that we should feel guilty when we eat certain foods and therefore encourages us to deprive ourselves of the things we crave most!
What a joke!?! 😡
If I want a donut (*insert whatever food you enjoy here*) I'm going eat the damn donut! Because I know (from years of experience) if I tell myself I can't have that donut I'm just going to end up sad, miserable and shoving 10 of them in my mouth down the track!
So yes, I've lost about 20kg in the past 9 months, but I still eat the donuts and never feel guilty about a single bite!!

It's TREAT DAY (otherwise know as Donut Day in the #fasterwaytofatloss community ) I cannot emphasise enough how important it is to allow yourself to enjoy food! The diet industry would like us to believe that we should feel guilty when we eat certain foods and therefore encourages us to deprive ourselves of the things we crave most! What a joke!?! If I want a donut (*insert whatever food you enjoy here*) I'm going eat the damn donut! Because I know (from years of experience) if I tell myself I can't have that donut I'm just going to end up sad, miserable and shoving 10 of them in my mouth down the track! So yes, I've lost about 20kg in the past 9 months, but I still eat the donuts and never feel guilty about a single bite!!
