Sunday morning is made for brewing coffee with my new homemade alcohol stove. As in 2020 i'll start cycling around the world, i'm trying to build gears that i'll need, avoiding as much as possible fancy high tech outdoors stuff.
Alcohol stoves are the cheapest and reliable way to cook your own food wherever you are, and i guess that alcohol is also avaiable in any country.
I had the opportunity to try gas and multifuel stove but i can't find any pros compared to the alcohol One. They cost about 30€ up to 300€, made of mechanical parts which can fail in the middle of nowhere, gas bottles are difficult to find out of Europe, and gasoline for cooking with the multifuel sistem sounds way too complicated. I also want to pack my bike with lightweight gears, this alcohol burner can easily fit in any pocket and the fuel can be stored in the bottle holder. - 6 days ago
