Arianna Huffington is the publisher of one of the world's most recognizable names in online publications today but did you know she was once rejected by major publishers? Her second book, which she tried to publish long before she created the now globally recognizable Huffington Post empire, was rejected 36 times before it was eventually accepted for publication. Even Huffington Post itself wasn’t a success right away. When it launched, there were lots of highly negative reviews about its quality and potential but she went ahead to keep publishing in the face of her fears of what people's review will be.
There are many dreams flushed down the toilet of life just because of what people like friends, family, experts, or even mentors said about them when the dreamer first shared it. "What will people say or think of my past failure/mistake" has also put a brake on the vehicle of many dreams.
See! Yes, you've failed 30 times and people are already mocking you. Common! Dust it off! The best way to respond to naysayers or rumour-mongers is with results. Have you learnt something from it? If yes, you've not failed - you've just succeeded in moving closer to your desired result! Bill Gates once defined #success as "going from failure to failure fast enough without giving up till you achieve your desired result." So, this new week, I challenge you to become deaf to what people are saying or will say to mock you - dust off your fear of it. You can't appear in your dream future if you are dressed today in the attire of your past failures!
Life isn't working against you! Life is working for you! It's a fresh new week with fresh opportunities - go, deliver your destiny!
You are #unstoppable
