This past year I’ve really laser focused on my daily habits. Maybe it’s cuz without the burden of school, I have time to think about other things?
I’ve gotten pretty good at my fitness and eating habits. That was my first goal, and it’s definitely still a work in progress!
Then, I started to take a look at my dental health. Every 6 months to get a cleaning...did I want to? Heck no, dentists freak me out. But it has been so worth it, and my teeth feel so healthy.
Next, I took a look at my hair and my skin, cuz in about 4 months I’m gonna have a crap ton of pictures taken of me...at our wedding 🤷🏼♀️ It was in rough shape. I really don’t do anything to my hair, especially now that it’s longer. And my skin? There would be nights I wouldn’t wash off my makeup and just reapply over it the next morning. College was rough.
But, it has started to pay off! My skin isn’t blotchy and red and I have had so many less breakouts. And my hair feels healthy and is easier to maintain.
If anything, implementing these small tasks into my daily routine have shown me that it takes TIME for things to work. It takes time to see progress and it takes time for habits to stick.
