As annoying as this statement can feel ( especially when things are in fact falling apart) it does ring true most all of the time.
I’ve had quite a journey in my 39yrs on this planet, and a lot of falling apart has happened.
Horrific relationships leading to horrific breakups, going through hurricane Katrina and losing everything I had, losing friends, suicide taking place in my life with people close to me, drug addicted friends/ lovers, family falling apart, a complete and total nervous breakdown that left me housebound for 3 months & debilitated with none stop anxiety and panic attacks.
And those are easiest traumatic events I can sum up quickly.
Then there were 7 car accidents, chronic pain, depression, and so many other battles.
Wondering if the pursuit of happiness is insanity.
But , after all of these experiences, all the pain, loss, grief I still have one thing - ME!
Interestingly the one thing that can never be taken or lost is you.
As painful and hard as my journey has been, it’s also been rich, juicy, exciting, interesting, and it forced me to think outside the box.
I wish that more people would search what’s inside them without first having to have something catastrophic happen. But so many times, that’s exactly what happens.
As @drjoedispenza says “ sometimes in order for people to wake up, they need a wake up call”.
Sometimes falling apart is the best possible thing that can happen to you.
It can breakdown our character armor, it can shake the foundation of our reality and our beliefs.
And this my friends can be an awakening to something much more fulfilling then comfortably numb.#healing #emotionalwakeupcall #nervousbreakdown #coaching #fallingapart #awakening #selfswareness #emotionalmedicinecoaching #feelings #emotions #breakthroughs #wakingup #innerjourney #selfknowledge #knowyourself - 1 day ago
