When the water main breaks at your main gym, it's funny how everyone has a reunion at the closest sister gym in the Lifetime Family.  All of us hadnt been together since one of my birthday parties years ago.

🤔When people think about traditional shoulder exercises, their minds usually go to one of two places: presses, or raises⁣

☝🏻The thing about these exercises, is they work the anterior (front) and lateral (side) of the shoulder, which are two places that tend to be overused and overworked already.⁣

🤙🏻When I talk about shoulder work, I am talking about the back of the shoulder. The rear deltoids are small postural muscles on your upper back.⁣

What up delts??? Who's working shoulders today?

One of my favorite shoulder exercises is the Landmine Press. It targets the Anterior Deltoid without sacrificing a Neutral Spine via Insufficient Thoracic Extension. 
Translation? Bigger Bench, Boulder Shoulders, Less Ouchy Ouchy.

Next Shoulder Day, pack some weight on that bad boy and go to town! 😉

I got mine from @roguefitness for like $75, though most gyms have them as well. Great investment!

Me & Momo's shoulder day adventures💪🏻🔥 (swipe for written #workout) We did roughly 8 to 10 reps as heavy as we could stand. The "×5" or "×6" = how many sets or EA superset. Killerrr.🔥 the last set of DB shoulder press at the end was medium weight for 15 reps each set because I wanted to really murder us.😘 Have fun, be safe.🔥💪🏻

Yep 3 bloody years for that teeny bit of growth 🙄and that is exactly why I find it bizarre when girls say they don't wanna lift coz they "don't wanna get too big" 🤦‍♀️ The only way you'll get too big is by A) eating too much food and putting on excess fat or B) getting some very obvious "unnatural" help 👀💉🐸 Now don't get me wrong,in my situation it hasn't been 3 years of a perfect diet and training schedule (I wish life went smooth enough to allow me that 🤣🤣) but it has been 3 years of eating well most of the time and for the majority training consistently through the year with some sessions lasting 1.5hrs (very rare these days 🤣😭) and some sessions lasting 40 mins but always trying to fit into my busy schedule! The point is,just keep chipping away bit by bit,session by session,day by day and I guarantee one day an old photo will pop up to remind you of where you started and just how far you've come 😉💪🙆‍♀️

The piece of equipment that I’m wearing across my chest is called an Arm Blaster (I’m super stoked that @fuel_fitness_kalispell has one) it’s purpose is to restrict range of motion, isolating the biceps, thus giving you a pipe bursting pump!

Here’s a quick shoulder/bicep workout you can knock out in under 45 minutes! Keep in mind that these videos are sped up a little bit, going slow and controlling your movements is extremely important if you truly want to see results and feel the 🔥 🔥

•2: alternating front raise 3x12
