I know there’s WAY MORE important things to talk about. Like how we need to help our planet heal, and how we need to free innocent children from cages, and better gun control, and a million other things.
But I just want to thank you all yet again for all the love on my last post. I honest to God was NOT expecting the response it got. I was talking to a friend earlier, and they asked me if I got any hate from it, and to my surprise I was able to say no. I shared with them, that as I was writing my post I almost deleted it & said “Never mind.” But then, something in me said. “No, you need to share your thoughts on this.” I was scared to share these thoughts, because I didn’t want anyone, especially anyone with a SCI for example from an accident, think that I think your story doesn’t matter. It does. EVERYONE’S story matters. I just wish there was a wider representation of people with diverse adaptabilities since birth, was my point. And I’m honestly just so happy that I’m not alone in these thoughts, and that a conversation was started on it.
And in sappy thoughts from Alma, I’m just forever humbly grateful & in awe that my words make an impact. It honestly baffles me that what I share in posts & videos is taken notice of, and starts conversations. I’ve always said that I’m Hannah Montana & I stand by it. I’m not always the most noticed, or listened to person in my real life. But thank you for making me feel special & heard in this crazy social media world I’ve created for myself. Thank you for seeing me in ways I will NEVER understand. I will forever be baffled, but grateful to infinity ♾ by it. Ilysm my souls! 🥺💛 #ADAPTABILITY #DISABILITY #ADAPTABILITIES #DISABILITIES #BornThisWay #ACCIDENT #REPRESENTATION #StephAiello #MEDIA #ULTA #UltaBeauty - 7 minutes ago
