To all my Sisters in Lifting, who wants better arms? Today was a shoulder/arm day with emphasis on arms! Science says that time under tension produces consistent results, and the eccentric phase causes the most adaptation. So.... The triceps movement is designed to overload the eccentric phase to spur growth! The biceps movement is actually a superset of cable curls emphasizing the stretch, pared with alternating cable curls focused on the contraction.

The problem with training arms once a week is that your giving the muscle way too much time to rest.  Your arms are a relatively small group of muscles that recover relatively quickly.  Waiting a full week to train them again is not very productive. .

Only training biceps, or triceps for that matter is another mistake.  Some people even place more emphasis on one or the other, while neglecting the other muscle.  Train with equal intensity for both muscles and your arms will gain a great deal of size.  The benefits of training both equally is that one pushes on the other which will fill out your arms from an all around angle. .

Going for the pump is good and has it’s benefits in terms of fully saturating the muscle with blood and nutrients, but it should not be your primary goal.  Your primary goal should be progressive overload. .

Probably the biggest mistake is not following me.  Enjoy the weekend. .

Hi guys 👋🏼 hope everyone is having a great Saturday! I’m back having filmed a back & biceps workout yesterday, nothing new but these are definitely staples for me in building the upper body 🙌🏽 I like me a nice defined back 🗣

1. Seated cable rows - 20lbs each arm (4x10)
2. Lat pulldowns - 55lbs (4x10) the weights on the machine were definitely lighter, I’m not gonna hype myself yet lol
3. Iso lateral rows - 32lbs (3x10) each arm 
4. Wrist curls - 15lbs (3x10)
5. Bicep curls - 25lbs (3x10)

Flat bench 60,70,80,90x10 100x5
Incline bench 60x10 80x8
Decline 60x10 100 8 repsx3sets
Light dumbell press 3x10
Smith machine press 1xfailure (37reps)
Machine press 2x20 1xfailure
Easy curl bar 1xfailure. Do not let go to the bar upon first failure. Rest 15 secs and keep going. Repeat this until form gives out.
Barbell curl 15 reps. Cheat rep on the final 5 and control the negative
Close grip bench 3x10 don’t forget to squeeze at the top 
Tricep push down 3 sets 50,40,30 reps moderate weight I used 27.5kg
Dips 3x10 full range of motion

Get yourself an arm stabilizer so your bicep workouts eliminate any use of the shoulders and focus all that tension into your arms.

Btw the shirt I'm wearing is a XL. Working on form and doing full extensions/contractions is what works all the muscle fibers. Im working and just attempting to develop my body to my desired goals. When you see others who have a great aesthetic look don’t feel discouraged. See it ass a figure to motivate you to do better and work harder.
