Reflecting on the past 6 months yesterday realizing that it have been the best time of my life. 6 months ago I found CrossFit which has impacted me so much physically and even more mentally. I would have never thought given with my past diagnosis that I would be partaking in the training and coaching that I am today. Being able to understand that rest days are needed and essential(as much as I hate them). At one time been told I would not be able to return to doing any physical activity due to my mindset toward it- to now being able train with a striving goal to become stronger and to better techniques not as a punishment. 🔥 Team Nutrition Challenge…Meet the Winners!!! 🔥

Over the past 6 weeks we have been doing a Team Nutrition Challenge at CrossFit Sugar Grove. Each team had 4 members. Each participant was given the chance to meet with one of our Nutrition Coaches to discuss their goals, past dietary habits and lifestyle. Together they found what type of nutrition plan was right for THEIR needs, and were then guided in this style throughout the 6 weeks.

Next up is Kim! Her goal was to lose weight, but she was concerned about losing muscle mass. Well she managed to do what is nearly impossible! Kim’s body fat % went down by 4.8 % which is impressive, but even more so was that she gained 1.3 lbs of muscle! Kim used a keto approach during the 6 weeks.
