Silent reverberation in the hallways of my beehive heart.
Where are the sister priestesses?
Where has the honey gone?
I inspect in the shadows to find comb,
crystallized in some places,
dripping with ancient and newly-cultivated honey in others.⠀
"Ah, here is my heart."
I draw the comb to my breast and rub honey and wax into my skin.
Suddenly, a hum.
A deep, soul-shaking hum fills my cavernous body and trembles me to my knees.
Bees come and land on me, each seems to be speaking, singing, praises of my return, like sisters, hugging me and licking me and dancing lemniscatic patterns into the holy pores in my skin, reminding this body, awakening this body, to be the hive of my own remembrance.
A receptacle of light and shadow, honey and sting, until the bare ecstasy of life bursts me open and I am thousands of bees, all humming, all chanting, singing, swimming in the nectar of life, pollen on our hairy legs, as we swarm around the heart of God|dess, of womynity herself, and vibrate in every direction at once, still connected, the ancient black patterns scribed on every bee's golden body-heart; maps and languages spoken through the omnipresent hums of centuries and millennia, teaching orally from mouth to ear, old tongues that lick honey and GIVE in pure service to the Queen, the fertile feminine; for when you take abundance away from abundance, abundance still remains.
And the holy scribe of my heart writes in patterns of light & life, decoded through the hexagonal visions seen through bees' eyes; codes of prosperity and priestesshood, as we breathe, in Melissae.
