I'm baaaaaack. I've been in social media hybernation to find myself, as an artist and as a brand.
In the past months, I lost my artistic eye. Not in the sense of ability but more so purpose. I lost my way to be honest. I started posting and sharing things for followers, likes, attention, etc. I forgot the reason why I got into the beauty industry.
My defining moment was my first makeup application in 2002 on a woman that didnt see the beauty in herself. After haphazardly applying makeup on this woman, I saw her realize the beauty she already possessed. From that moment, I knew that my way of making a difference in the world would be through the art of makeup.
This evolved to the beauty of skin. Learning what to do to have healthy skin and not rely on makeup to feel beautiful. This is when skincare became an important tool for my art.
With this reawakening, a new look and purpose has arisen. Expect to see a cleaner social format, relevant images for inspiration and knowledge, delve behind the scenes of the creative process and more reflection. I hope you find this change helpful and inspiring. Thank you for being on this journey with me.
