This weekend I got to teach some runners before they completed a half marathon the following day. We practiced outside and let me tell you- doing yoga outside in a shady breezy spot on a 78 degree day will put anyone in a good mood!

There is this misconception that I hear often- that yoga is just stretching and relaxing. It’s not. Sometimes it can be, but that’s not the point.
.
Some classes are super hard workouts (cough cough @thenonprophet 😂), some classes are slow and meditative. But the point of yoga isn’t either, it’s to learn about yourself. It’s to practice awareness. Awareness of your body, your mind, and everything else. It’s learning how to take that awareness into your daily life so we aren’t just walking through life oblivious. It’s learning how to get yourself through hard situations with the breath. It’s learning that everything passes.

This weekend I got to teach some runners before they completed a half marathon the following day. We practiced outside and let me tell you- doing yoga outside in a shady breezy spot on a 78 degree day will put anyone in a good mood! . There is this misconception that I hear often- that yoga is just stretching and relaxing. It’s not. Sometimes it can be, but that’s not the point. . Some classes are super hard workouts (cough cough @thenonprophet ), some classes are slow and meditative. But the point of yoga isn’t either, it’s to learn about yourself. It’s to practice awareness. Awareness of your body, your mind, and everything else. It’s learning how to take that awareness into your daily life so we aren’t just walking through life oblivious. It’s learning how to get yourself through hard situations with the breath. It’s learning that everything passes. . . For this recipe I took the cinnamon roll concept, removed the sugar completely and added more salt to the dough. For the filling, I caramelized one large onion, minced, with some brown sugar, some smoked paprika and a pinch of cinnamon. I made the rolls and I chose to bake them singularly in my muffin molds. I tasted just a tiny bit to avoid quitting ketosis, but my flatmates litterally devoured them. So, #flatmateapproved! 😂.

Szeretem a színes ételeket.🥗🥙 🍽Céklát serpenyőben megsütöttem, mikor majdnem kész lett, adtam hozzá felszeletelt édesköményt és együtt sütöttem készre. Majd összekevertem a spenótós avokádóval , néhány csepp málnaecettel ízesítettem.
Rákot sóval, borssal, citromlével ízesítettem majd 3-4 perc alatt serpenyőben megsütöttem.🥗🍚 ‼️A hűtött  rizs nem emeli annyira a vércukorszintet, glikémiásan jóval kedvezőbb hatású, ráadásul így átalakul rezisztens keményítővé, ami a bélbaktériumok kedvenc tápláléka.‼️
