Cant believe I'm eating #breakfast at quarter to 9! Normally already had it 2 hours ago. That is because I have managed to sleep past 6:30! I had to check the time twice this morning to convince myself that it was quarter past 8!😂 Just goes to show that even sleep needs fuelling, make sure you've nourished your body in order for a good night's rest! I feel so awake this morning!😁 .

A classic example of a meal prep Sunday where my goal is to use the rest of the food in my house before buying more. The more I try things out, the more I find uses for the food I didn’t end up using the week before which saves me tons of 💵 💵. I do wish I had more veggies in these dishes though. 
The first lunch is falafels and hummus, with a quinoa salad, hard boiled egg, and some herb cheese from Whole Foods market. 
The second lunch is a cold pasta salad with a cashew pesto sauce and assorted veggies, alongside some chicken and carrots. 
Quinoa salad
2 cups quinoa (cooked)
Chickpeas 
Cilantro 
Red bell peppers
Green onions 
Chopped spinach
2 tsp olive oil 
Salt and pepper to taste 
Pasta salad 
Zucchini 
Spinach 
Red bell pepper 
Cilantro 
Cashew pesto sauce 
1 cup cashews (soaked in warm water for 30 min)
Kale Pesto 
Salt and pepper
Minced garlic 
Cilantro 
Green onion 
Salt and pepper to taste

FRENCH TOAST SANDWICH

🥪This is the ultimate bank holiday weekend breakfast from my new book with @Ronnie! It’s got complex carbs, fibre, fruit, some healthy fat and protein from the nut butter and eggs which may surprise you results in a rather balanced sweet dish!

Serves 2
.
🛒YOU'LL NEED
.
✔️ 4 slices of wholemeal bread
✔️ ½ banana, thinly sliced
✔️ 2 tbsp peanut butter
✔️ 60ml almond milk
✔️ 2 eggs
✔️ ½ tsp vanilla essence
✔️ ½ tsp cinnamon
✔️ 1 tbsp coconut oil
✔️ 2 tbsp maple syrup
✔️ 80g fresh berries

👩🏼‍🍳RECIPE

1️⃣First, make two peanut butter and banana sandwiches.
.
2️⃣Then, whisk together the almond milk, eggs, vanilla extract and cinnamon. Pour the mixture into a container large enough to fitthe sandwiches and soak each oneon both sides for about 10 seconds.
.
3️⃣Preheat a frying pan over a medium-high heatand grease with the coconut oil,to prevent the sandwiches from sticking. Cook each one for 3–4 minutes on each side, or until golden.
.
4️⃣Cut each sandwich in half, drizzle with maple syrup and finish with the fresh berries.

Happy bank holiday Monday folks! 
What are you up to today? 
Anyone near Oxfordshire and wondering what to do, I'd definitely go and tickle your taste buds with the large array of fantastic foods including artisan breads, pickles and much more at Blenheim Palace. Such beautiful grounds too! 
A superb line up of celebratory chefs and food demos. I got to meet the very engaging Mr Novelli @Jeanchristophnovelli talking healthy food principles. 
A lovely opportunity too, to meet and be sous chef (well, breifly grate a few carrots on stage) for fellow Nutritional Therapist Eva,  the brains behind @wholefoodwarrior Her bibimbap with white miso and tumeric kimchi was so delicious 🔥🔥🔥😍😍😍 Not many pics as it was a bit wet, but we didn't let that spoil our fun. You’re friendly reminder that’s it’s ok to have enjoyed more food and drink than usual over the Bank holiday weekend... if it makes you feel better I guarantee you that you are NOT alone in this! For me yesterday involved substantial amounts of cookies and cakes 😜 🍪🍰...and I was feeling a little guilty about this until I reminded myself that life is too short to always miss out and that one day of indulging will not undo all my previous hard work . Life is for living so when my kids ask to do some baking... we bake... which incidentally is then followed by eating cake 💁🏽‍♀️😂 Give yourself a break and just get back ‘on it’ as soon as you can 👍🏼

So to anyone who’s already seen my story, you already know my outrage at 1 pancake=1 serving. Not ok! ...though having said that they were quite filling 😅 
I had one with Nutella and the other with biscoff spread and berries and half a banana 😋 And the @vivolife Magic hot chocolate as well. 
I usually make protein pancakes when I have them but I thought I should make normal pancakes since when you vote for pancakes (which many of you did) you’re thinking normal pancakes! 🥞 (I still used spelt flour instead of white though, not completely sure why? I do really like whole grains but it does also feel ‘wrong’ to have a meal with virtually no micro nutrients). ————————————————————- I am already thinking ‘that’s way too much unhealthy food, I shouldn’t have done that, I can’t have ice cream later now’ (spoiler alert, I’m having ice cream 😉). But it’s not like I don’t eat unhealthy foods, I think it’s because the website I got the pancake recipe from showed the calories and it put me more in mind of ‘all that stuff’ ya know? ————————————————————- I kind of want to do an update on how I am but it’s hard because I don’t quite know? I’m actually doing pretty well at the moment but then I seem to get scared of feeling better because I’ve had so many times that I feel great for a little while and the crash and hit a new low. Day 27 for #marriedmay is about food and drink, which I have barely any photos of 🤣
Morning of the wedding I filled up at the breakfast buffet knowing I won’t be eating until the evening! I only had a Buck’s Fizz whilst getting ready and then after the ceremony a few sips of Prosecco before being whisked away for photos! 
For our food we decided to have a barbecue which made it less formal and it was probably one of the best wedding food I’ve ever had (I went up for seconds and regretted it later on 🤣 I was so hungry and dehydrated that I felt faint and had a bad stomach for a few hours 😂)
We had a mixture of salads, pasta, meats, potatoes etc and we had desserts which was fruit and some chocolate mousse which again I had 2 of, without the lovely slice of wedding cake 😂 I didn’t drink much alcohol during food as I was mainly filling up on food. For our guests we had a bar tab so that they could enjoy the afternoon and evening and drink what they wanted with a glass of champagne for the speeches.
After the wedding and food we went to Ayia Napa to the welsh bar and stayed there until 2:30am! Both our fathers were kind enough to put a bar tab on so people drank until it was gone, which was basically until 2:30am 😂 Then us youngsters continued partying in the silent disco (managed to get a free bottle of champagne each) and danced until 5am, which ended up with us in a kebab shop ordering chips.
The next morning we forgot that we arranged to have breakfast in bed at 10am, which we could have easily not had as we only got in at 5:30am, but it was so lovely to have it even if my husband wasn’t very talkative. I even got up at that point and went down to the poolside leaving my husband in bed! I was even doing water aerobics at 11am 😂
Anyway, our home party was a buffet which is the usual standard! Kicking this bank holiday off with an amazing glute workout. Felt quite sick at times but I think I’m probably sweating all the chocolate out of me 😂 and why is my right quad popping?? .
Mentioning chocolate, there’s probably a lot of people who drank and ate a lot more than they normally would this bank hol (me included) which is fab & fine. BUT there’s going to be a lot of you who currently feel guilty for all the added treats you had over the weekend and I’m here to tell you to pack it in. I know you probably woke up this morning feeling bloated and worrying that you’ve taken 3 steps back with your progress but you haven’t. Your body will return back to normal in a matter of days ensuring you fuel it properly and drink enough water. Maybe use the extra calories for a heavy leg session if you want to, but please remember the tasty food you had and the memories you made, not the calories attached to it. Food is a pleasure not a guilt and that’s something that has taken me a LONG time to realise. I know it’s hard to see through what you’re feeling but by Wednesday you’ll be feeling bomb again. Pinky promise.💘

Süper Pazartesi’ler... Her Pazartesi olduğu gibi ödem atan, yağ yakan bir tarifle geliyorum çünküüüü hafta sonu kaçamak yapılır.😉 İşin kuralı budur! Paniğe mahal yok Pazartesi detoksu ve tamamdır😎 o zaman Pazartesi günleri neler yapıyoruz bir hatırlayalım:
Maydanoz ve maydanoz suyunu bol bol tüketin. Gece uyurken veya sabah uyandığınızda 1 çay bardağı içmek karaciğer ve böbrekleri temizler, ödem atımını hızlandırır.
– Doğal ev yapımı yoğurdu günlük en az 2 kase mutlaka tüketin.
– Yeşil çay ödemi atmada ve böbrekleri temizlemede etkilidir.
– Bol bol spor ve yürüyüş yapın. Günlük en az 30 dakika yürümeniz şart.
– Dereotu ödem atmaya yardımcıdır.
– Adaçayı, ıhlamur çayını da içebilirsiniz.
Hadi bir Tarifte vereyim tam olsun😉

Saraçoğlu Ödem Atan Kür Tarifi:
Yarım litre suyun içine mısır püskülü, kiraz sapı, 2 tutam nane, yarım çay kaşığı kekik katarak kısık ateşte 15 dakika kadar kaynatın ve bu suyu için. Suyun tam olarak kaynamaması gerekiyor. What's your?? Dear friends never skip your first meal of the day. Breakfast is your first meal of the day it should not be done just to fill your tummies but give you full nutrition as well...... Skipping a breakfast to loose weight is a myth. Improve your metabolism and fuel yourself properly as you have a long day ahead. 
For me it should be power pack yet simple and quick. 
Today it's Simple and quick:-
🍳One Omelette- source of protein. 🍞One Multigrain toast with little butter- Carbs, fiber, calcium. 🥗My veggies tossed with some seeds.- Source of fiber and mineral and calcium.
My soaked nuts- 🥜Soaking nuts can neutralize the enzymes allowing for proper digestion.
🥛Cup of milk with my home made protein powder- Source of Calcium and protein.

Is there any better way to start off your day than with a Fruit Crumble? 🤤🍎🍐🍓
I made this one with Pears, Blueberries and Rhubarb. For the crumble I mixed Oats with puffed Amaranth, chopped walnuts and Soy Flakes with Maple Syrup and some Coconut Oil🍁🥥 Then it went into the oven for about 20mins at 180°C 👩🏻‍🍳 To add protein, I had low-fat cottage cheese on the side, mixed with Cinnamon and sweetener for a “fake rice pudding” 😍 Finally, I chopped a Protein Bar as a topping. Et voilà🤩

Összetevők:
✨100 g darált mák
✨100 g zabliszt
🍐3 körte lereszelve
✨1 tk fahéj
✨50 g mandulaliszt
✨3 tojás
✨1 dl növényi/sima tej
✨90 g eritrit
✨1/2 tk vanília
✨1 tk sütőpor
✨1 marék mandula a tetejére 
A tojásokat az eritrittel habosra verjük, majd hozzáadjuk a fahéjat és a vaníliát. A körtéket egy külön tálban meghámozzuk, lereszeljük és kinyomkodjuk a levét (itt fontos lépés, hogy ki ne öntsétek, amit kinyomtok belőle, hiszen ez a legfinomabb tiszta, cukrozatlan körtelé! ilyet a boltban nem kaptok!) A lisztet, mandulalisztet és a mákot elkeverjük a sütőporral, majd mehet egybe a két massza és a tejet fokozatosan hozzáadva jól elkeverjük a tésztát. 180 fokos előmelegített sütőben kb. 35-40 perc alatt készre sütjük. Mielőtt kivesszük, tűpróbával ellenőrizzük. 
Írjatok, ha kipróbàljàtok, remélem nektek is ízleni fog!😋

I’m a day behind for #marriedmay but this is what I was most excited for and shockingly it was for my husband to see me all dressed up and to make those wonderful promises to him and to finally become his wife.
I was so excited all morning and never felt nervous at any point! Everyone kept asking how I was feeling and if I was nervous but all I could say was no I’m fine I just want to see him as I’m so excited! I thought I was just being odd and kept being told once you start having your make up done, then you hair and put your dress on you will feel it. But I was cool as a cucumber all day! I was even dressed and ready to go 30 minutes early and just wanted to get to the ceremony that I remember jumping about on the bed 😂
Thankfully, my husband was just as calm as I was all day and never felt nervous. 
So to me the most exciting part of the day was finally being able to walk down that aisle and my husband seeing me for the first time (his best man kept telling him to keep looking to the front). I remember his eyes light up and it was the best feeling! 
Throughout the vows I remember not being nervous and forgetting everyone else was there, even if I had a little wobble after he said his vows then it was my turn.

3 chicken breast tenderloins
1/3 cup coconut flour
1 egg
Oil for frying (healthiest option is avocado, but it’s not required)
Seasonings of your preference .

Instructions:
1. Cut each tenderloin into 2-3 chicken nugget size pieces. Dip in egg, coat each side with coconut flour and seasonings.
2. Pan fry each side for 3-4 minutes on medium, then switch to medium high for 1-2 minutes on each side.

(recipe makes 1 serving)
Calories: 462
Fat: 30g
Protein: 43g
Net carbs: 5g
Fiber: 16g

I just added 20g fat to account for the oil it’s fried in, but it might vary based on how much you use. So if you air fry them without oil, it will only have 10g fat for recipe. .

Maintaiiiiiiin! Thanks to an imminent ⭐ week (and a yummy pizza yesterday no doubt! #worthit ) So I'm cool with that!! Its always annoying not to see a loss but im feeling so much more better in my clothes and my mindset so it's a definate win for me! One huge benefit ive found of calorie counting too is I 100% know why my weight is doing what it's doing, before it i was guessing tbh..on paper I should have had at least 1lb loss today but mother nature is a force on her own. Haha #girllife

Next week aim..Put 30mins aside each day for myself to do some form of exercise, a walk, fitness dvd, boxing anything to up my activity.

my approach was simple. become obsessed and take extreme action. i decided to utilize intermittent fasting as my initial diet. i started off eating between 1pm-6pm. after 6 i didn’t eat any food (only drank water) until the next day at 1pm. once i started to see massive results i got addicted to the process and it truly as been enjoyable ever since. if (intermittenting fasting) worked best for me because i was a food addict, 6 small meals a day wasn’t strict enough. so i decided to go with if because it forced me to stop eating so much. .
