Late autum, but it is +25C here.
Bees need water all year round, but especially on hot days.
You can set up an easy water station that will be frequented by honey bees and native bees.
Use an old pot, fill it with sandstones, add water, find a shady spot for this water station. Don't change water in it, just add fresh water every week or two. Bees can't swim. Stones in the water station will provide a safe landing spot for bees.
Biologists believe that bees probably find most of their water by scent rather than sight, so a water source with a smell will be more attractive. Water that smells like wet earth, moss, aquatic plants, better chance of attracting a bee than sparkling water straight from the tap. Sandstone will absorb water and soon will grow moss. Bees love drinking from the moss. - 8 hours ago
