Day four of #gutright 🌱
Although a few months ago I had gotten into the habit of having this kind of thing for breakfast, I got lazy and started having toast again. However! This time I cooked a big batch of @everylastbite_ turkey breakfast sausages (which are delicious!) So now I just have to cook up some veg or eggs in the morning for a quick breakfast!

Easy vegetable stir-fry! -
1-2 cups mixed veggies of choice
I used mushrooms, green beans, green onion, red bell pepper

Day 83/365- I am woman and I support  and promote other women, I don’t beat them down .... even if I disagree with them- One of the things I find most inspiring is women openly supporting and lifting each other up. Being one of the many “groups” or classes of human that are disadvantaged it drives me to support, encourage and promote my fellow ladies. Whether this be by complimenting, educating, holding a hand in a time of need offering advice, a shoulder to cry on or smacking them metaphorically in the face with the truth when needed. Today I was able to promote my ladies and give them a positive. What I dislike is fake women, those who tear down others, use and abuse trust, lie, manipulate, bad mouth, shame and belittle others for their own gain. It’s ugly, it’s harmful and it’s simply unwomanly. We are not in competition we should be a team united for the future generations of women to make them feel loved, appreciated, worthy and capable........ sadly some of us fail to live up to this standard...... sadly I would prefer not to associate with you and to instead wish you well on your journey ...... a journey I will not buy tickets for. ProRaw 11 - Part 2 – Thank you to my people

Still so much to dribble on about.

I never get sick of competing with @critta_ we both had so much stress to get through but it didn’t stop either of us, even gave each other small pep talks during prep. I knew he needed 317.5 for his first 800 total or 322.5 for the win, naturally he didn’t disappoint, going for the win.

I knew this was a huge lift for him I said to my handlers “I can’t let him go it alone”. Ran through backstage to get to him, I wanted to win but I was so damn pumped up so I had to support & banter him to give it hell. Scared the hell out of me when he got it off the floor haha! Unfortunately for him just a tiny bit too heavy. I am thankful for his consistency which keeps me consistent.

Thank you to all competitors for their kind words & support before & on the day.  @wcroz for on the day help & some pre comp breathing/bracing work.  @dreadnoughtstrengthequipment for a tip very early in prep which changed my squatting world haha.

ProRaw 11 - Part 1 Me and my lifts - 300/202.5/302.5//805@79.9 – 1st & 80s ProRaw Record!

Late & Long post, a lot I want to say. I like to switch off after comps, vids have been posted plenty hahah. Separate thank you post to peeps/sponsors soon.

I started prep in a bad place & considered pulling out.  The stress I had was affecting my training, personal life, relationship, work, it built up & I had a huge breakdown to Nim.

I really hate the thought of letting myself and others down when it wasn’t on my terms so I promised to myself that I’d dig myself out, make weight & put on a show. Get to weight a day early, take on a 300kg squat, bench 200+ & deadlift 300+. I mostly kept this to myself for prep.

Started at my worst stress levels & worst physical condition (dexa scan showed me this). Trained my ass off, got back in shape (5.8kg fat loss, 2.7kg muscle gain, 6.3%BF drop in 8 weeks), got power back (even after some 10-12hr physical work days) & cut some stress.

There was no stopping, even with a few sketchy sessions in there.  Made it well under the day before as planned.

272.5/287.5/300 – Squats felt heavy but went well, 300 threw me around, figured I’d fail but somehow held onto it and it came up comfy.  20kg comp PB.

192.5/202.5x/202.5 - Huge rookie error not setting up properly for my 2nd therefore missing it. Hit it on my 3rd fairly easy, should have done it properly the first time & tried for an unplanned PB on 3rd but 2.5 under PB is good with a rough bench prep, for weeks Id called no more than 202.5 anyway.

272.5/290/302.5 – Hella bad pec cramps during warm ups, stretched them & activated the hell out of my lats. 1st and 2nd good speed, no cramps. 2.5kg PB on 3rd. My 302.5 better than last year’s 300!

22.5kg total PB, enough to win and to take Patricks 5yr old ProRaw record, feels good to be strong again.

Now back to Strongman, Static Monster Worlds & ASA Nationals.  So long, if you got to here, well done!  Part 2 to come…

I'm pretty happy with my effort this year, especially considering the absolute lack of training in the months leading up to it. 🏋️‍♀️💪💜 Today is all about recovery. BUT tonight my precious defeated me. This post is my self love. I am fucking strong, I am determined, I am motivated, I am goal driven, I am kind, I am supportive, I am a cheerleader and I am a rock....but unlike DLB I am unable to beat my huge frickin quads. This woman has been called a man, too big, not feminine, fake bit when I first saw her I was blown away by her strength, self confidence which would have taken years to achieve and quads! This woman defied norms of the common mind to be her best self. Inspired I wanted to be my best self and learnt to embrace my big structure ....even if it let me down tonight ...fuck you quadzilla! Haha women like @danalinnbailey, @kortney_olson and @fearlessmiranda made me feel like my size (larger muscles, curves and badass) was still acceptable, should be embraced and didn’t define me.
