I’ve had a few cracks at business in my life, both independently and in the corporate world. I’ve experienced significant successes, epic failures, overwhelming debt, total burnout - you name it.. #scarsandall
When I opened my clinic here in Murwillumbah I knew I wanted this chapter to feel very different to previous ones. I took an intentionally organic approach, just embracing the pace of semi-country town life, getting to know people, investing in some sweat equity here and there, and taking a ‘slow and steady wins the race’ philosophy.
Nothing fancy. No savvy marketing or business strategies. No monthly sales goals. No KPIs. Just a smile for the barista or the florist or the dry cleaning lady instead. Just enjoying being part of a community. Just enjoying being in my clinic day after day, even when I had no bookings.
This journey has been such a process of joy and healing for me.. there are no words. For the first time in my life I’m building my own version of financial independence while doing something I genuinely love.. my soul work.. creating and serving on my own terms, in my own way. It’s bliss. And guess what, it’s building! November has been my busiest and most profitable month (yes, I do have a spreadsheet ) My organic, soul based business is slowly turning into what feels like a solid foundation from which anything can grow..
Reflecting today on what that means to me and just how grateful I am..
