So happy to be back with my De Facto IG Yoga teacher @yuko_yoga 🤗
And this time around she is joined by @cat_yoga_arisa 
First we Worked our  Abs, then our Backs and Now our Hips in the new #virtualyogasangha Challenge, "Open Your Hips like Crazy🤪"

Now the Hips are a lot more difficult to isolate that Abs in the poses we are working on during this challenge. And I say this because my Hamstring attaches(tendons attach to muscle to bone) just at the base of the bottom of my hip bones And My HAMSTRINGS HATE ME😩 SO ALL OF THESE POSES WILL BE KICKING MY ARSE🤦🏽‍♀️ Onward Soldier🏃🏿‍♀️ Day 1~ #parsvottanasana

Es aprender a intentar retos nuevos, caerse, sentir cada dolor y levantarse. Es aprender a respirar y controlar mi cuerpo ante las dificultades. Es encontrar un objetivo y no parar hasta lograrlo. 🌀➰
Practicar yoga para mi es tener tiempo conmigo misma y mi cuerpo, mente y espíritu. Es conectar cada sentido y despejarme de los pensamientos. Es aprender a ser constante y perseverante.🧿

Having had the opportunity to go back to Mysore, at the end of last year, felt like my big Christmas gift, my New Year’s celebration, and of course, my pre-birthday with cake and all, and all at once. Marichyasana D had taught me non-attachment. Some days it wants to work for me, others it doesn’t. We just have to do our best day in and day out, while being self aware and diligent at the same time.

Y que conste que no estoy tocando con la nariz en el suelo 😬 lo que el pelo me tapa la cara.

출산전에 어떤 운동이여도 좋습니다 
요가수련이 꼭 아니여도 어떤 운동이든 상관없으니 미리 운동을 해두시면 출산하실때 조금이나마 덜 힘들수있는 유일한 방법인거 같아요 화이팅하세요 @oneyoga_shala @sora_yoga

Pour réaliser cette posture krunchasana il est important de laisser venir le mouvement sans forcer, dans une expiration longue et profonde en activant les bandha.  Epaules détendues et machoires deserrees pour éviter toute tension dans les cervicales la tête étant étirée vers l arrière.
La jambe est tendue et  monte ainsi progressivement et le dos est droit.
Focaliser le regard sur les orteils.
Tenir pendant un cycle de cinq respirations profondes.

Trying to find balance after a full season of guiding in the Grand Canyon. I just emerged from the Colorado River covered in red mud after a 15-day expedition. We discovered these balancing rocks during Fall Equinox in Blacktail Canyon. Everyday this summer I guided my clients through an Asana practice as well as some of the worlds biggest whitewater. Be it morning at camp, in the sand, before we enter the current for the day...or in the late afternoon, on our raft, as we float through calm sections of river. Yoga can be done everywhere. Studying Ashtanga Yoga in New Zealand! Just finished a 2-week Mysore-Intensive with Kiwi teacher, Peter Sanson. Peter grew up on a farm & was a young man when he left NZ to study Ashtanga in India for 23 years under the guidance of Pattabhi Jois. A humble teacher with a genuine Indian accent, Peter continues to study every year in India. Ashtanga every morning followed by surfing & an inspirational house on the river where I could work & reflect... Wesley & I are en route now in our diesel "Vanette" to take the ferry to the South Island.

In the canyon, I piece together my Practice throughout the day on warm flat slabs of sandstone or rubber rafts which challenge ones balance as they spin in eddies & skim the surface of the current. At 4:30am I do my sun salutes in the dark under the light of the moon as I listen & wait for the coffee water to boil. The Canyon teaches me to have a new outlook on surfaces to take Practice, without my mat as a prop. Each environment presents a daily challenge in finding your breath. Feeling a tremendous sense of gratitude to my hometown studio, The Yoga Fitness Center, & my Gurus around the world for sharing the knowledge of Ashtanga Yoga --- my refuge no matter where work as an adventure guide takes me. 🌞

Calm before the storm • वृश्चिकासन • The beach was deserted this Valentine’s Day as the winds carried sand with gale force. Surrounded by various species of drying medusozoa, I curl my fingers into wet sand & mimic the sound of the ocean with breath. GoPro attached to a surfboard... this moment in time captured in the brewing storms off the coast of Oz.

3. Tuck in your front ribs in.
4. Strong core.
5. Tailbone tucked in.
6. Touch the ceiling with the toes to tighten and lengthen the body.
7. Have fun and don’t be afraid to fall over, I fall often can you tell? 🙃
