We’re all seeking happiness, but what we sometimes are missing is that happiness is not something we should look for, it can’t be our goal because it’s our state of being. Sometimes, I love to slow down for a moment and just enjoy it the way it is. I feel like what we concentrate on, is where our attention goes, and attention on a particular aspect of our lives is something that brings us the feeling of enjoyment or sadness. If we stop and look around, marking three things we don’t like (for example, it’s cold, I don’t like my living space, my friend didn’t support me) we’ll put ourselves down. If we do the same with three good things, it’s going to make us feel uplifted (i have beautiful weather to enjoy my warm tea, I have a living space and I can fill it with energy of love and warmth, I have a friend, whose thoughts are opposite of mine, which means, I can grow). Each time we feel sad or annoyed, think about three great things that you see around you at that moment, and you’ll feel that no matter how strong the wind around you is blowing, you can stand in the comfort of your own calmness and power.
