My ride and my pad.
This little hut is made of single sheet bamboo walls, it contains a bed with mosquito net, a bamboo table, a plastic chair and a fan. The bathroom is another 2 sqm of concrete box, with holes and gaps. There are three windows without glass, one of them has a mesh stapled to it, the other ones plywood on hinges to swing open and closed.
Living in this basic tiny house was actually amazing. A great opportunity to reground, recentre and focus on SIMPLICITY. For me it's always been the simple things in life that make me happiest. I love living close to nature, if not right IN it, being connected to the flora and fauna around me, utilising basic raw materials and resources to creatively use and build with. I love living in small, simple spaces as they give me this sense of freedom through simplicity, a cluttered life seems too difficult, too stimulating, too distracting from what IS right now. For me, simplicity keeps me in the moment, helps me to keep it real, keep it earthy, to experience and feel, rather than think.
It's the simple things that bring the greatest joy. - 11 hours ago
