Weight is holding around 250lbs, feeling like I want to puke after each meal so it's hard to understand why I haven't been able to add much weight. Typically anytime I have had an excess of calories I would increase my training time and intensity. This of course would initially seem logical, more food, more work, more growth, right? If you truly examine this thought process you realize it doesnt make much sense, you need a caloric surplus in order to grow, if you burn off the excess calories in training then you arent doing yourself any favors. The goal should be as high intensity as possibly with as low as volume as possible while still stimulating the muscle for growth! Anyway with all that said I'll be switching up to a 3x a week routine instead of 4x. Sessions will be longer but overall volume less while intensity will be kept at a maximum.
