Life is so similar to drawing!! At times you need to erase errors, just like you have to unlearn somethings just to find out who you truly are. You start off on a clean page and keep adding on more angles, details, shades...yet only at the end do you see how everything works together. Like life you learn to appreciate the process of creating something unique from nothing just like we too were created beautifully unique.
@nomzamo_m I know this is not perfect yet for my first attempt to draw a real person I say I tried, thank you for being the person you are. Keep pushing, we cheering for you. Rise black women rise, rise all women rise, amandla

Sunday Musings: 22 year Sundanese protester Alaa Salah captured by photographer Lana Haroun. Salah is standing on top of a car above a sea of people speaking truth to power
The photo subsequently went viral, with wide praise for the Sudanese women leading the cause
Salah’s white garment and gold moon-shaped earrings that she wears in the photo pays homage to working women-her dress being a "callback" to the clothing worn by Sudanese women from earlier generations who also fought for the end of dictatorial rule
Protests that began over the cost of bread tripling and cashless ATMs quickly morphed into a nationwide movement of demonstrators calling for Omar al-Bashir, who has ruled the country since 1989, to step down. State security forces have responded to the protests with what human rights advocates call excessive force. The government has issued a social media shutdown in response to the growing protests, but the ban has not stopped Sudanese women from harnessing their collective power online for the benefit of the movement
