How bad do you want it?
It’s slightly less than a month to my Yoga Teacher Training with @npschoolofyoga. In the few months leading up to it, I set certain goals for myself, a technique wish list, if you will. Now, as much as I don’t believe that you require certain skills to be a teacher (this is a topic for another day), I leveraged this system to provide an impetus for my personal progress.
Many of you have asked me, why do I attend 7am classes? Why don’t I sleep in, or practice at less ungodly hours? Others have asked, why do I attend 2 or even 3 back-to-back classes?
Simple. Because I want to. I want to deepen my practice, my knowledge, and my experience such that I can share even greater value to those around me. I want to become an even greater version of myself every day so I feel more assured that what I’m offering is useful.
In Parkour and Art du Déplacement, there is a core belief I hold close to my heart: "Be Strong to Be Useful".
We train so that we become strong, and we seek to be strong, such that we can be useful.
I’m sure each and every one of you reading this right now has a number of goals you would like to achieve.
The question is, how bad do you want it?
