POST WORKOUT SMOOTHIE 🏽
My favourite post workout fuel is a protein packed smoothie! Smoothies are great if you are looking for something quick, refreshing and versatile! A great blend and go snack, smoothies also offer loads of nutrition if you are throwing in the right stuff! 🙃
The four things I always put in my smoothie are:
1. 1/2 banana (or a full one)
2. Unsweetened almond milk
3. Vanilla protein powder
4. Any type of frozen fruit
Of course this isn’t allll I add, I’m all about all the xtra goodness! I often opt for one of my superfood powders such as: spirullina, açai, maca, or tumeric!
Here’s my classic açai smoothie:
- 1/2 banana
- Unsweetened almond milk
- Frozen mixed berries
- Vegan-based vanilla protein powder
- Açai powder
Blend & Enjoy!! Add less almond milk to turn into a smoothie bowl & top with granola!!
