“Two years ago my wife left me and I lost over $10k and my life was spinning out of control.
Three months after my divorce and several suicide attempts later my therapist gave me an ultimatum. Medication, forced admittance to a psychiatric hospital, or doing something significantly life altering.
I started at Stone Summit in Atlanta, every moment I wasn't working, running, or in therapy I was climbing.
My depression all but disappeared, I had found purpose and threw myself at the wall (sometimes literally). I lost and have kept off 65 pounds and have even found a career in arboriculture because of climbing.
I have made great friends and had amazing experiences and am now getting into traditional climbing!
Thanks for being such an amazing community.” Story: @roadbiker236
