I didn't get it, until I got it, get it? A few days ago these words were whispered to me in my quiet place and then I got it! The Bible phrase/verse - 'the joy of the Lord is your strength' Nehemiah 8:10, I have been using it all this while without actually experiencing it's full strength. Been through so much these last few months that I had actually lost all cause to live. I became like the Ecclesiastes and questioned the essence of it all - useless and pointless I tell you. It all amounts to nothing! Until I heard the whisper - 'the joy of the Lord, has become your strength'. It's almost felt like God wanted me to get to this dark, lonely and broken place before he can whisperer these words to me truly. I could sense it so strong. Lord become? What do you mean become? Hasn't it always been? °
Ahhhh no. This is it. I had finally got him, all for him. It's almost like he was waiting for this moment.
Reminded me of the scripture, ' my strength is made perfect in weakness' 2nd Corinthians 12:10
I get it now Lord. I get it. It is truly all about you! °
As you go to your various houses of worship, remember that it is truly all about him. Praise and worship him and allow his joy to truly become your strength! °
