Finished my hour hiit type workout with a long plank! My kids joined along ;) My goal today was 3:30-4:00 for the plank, but I only did 3:10. My shoulder were burning so bad at the end! Dang it! Let’s talk about HIIT training. Sensationalized, bastardized and down right done incorrectly, HIIT has become the preferred mode of cardio. While it is more effective and can be more functional it is often done by populations that have no business HIIT training. Exercise must be properly prescribed and dosed and HIIT should not be the method of overweight or non athlete populations. Just like heavy strength training and mastering diet, HIIT should be scaled to. HIIT causes huge crashes in body composition just like steady state cardio and crash dieting if not scaled properly. In addition, it has a high taxation on your central nervous system that can make recovering between lifts near impossible. So why am I doing it? I love training metabolically with hiit, but even I scale to it until just a few weeks before a show. If you want long term results training must be sustainable in everyday life. Vemos também muitas pessoas rotacionando, hiperflexionando e hiperextendendo suas articulações e falando que é para testar a Mobilidade Articular (M.A.).
Antes de falarmos sobre M.A. existe uma confusão do que se retrata, já que têm diferentes usos do termo entre as diferentes profissões que a utiliza. Antes de mais nada vamos tentar entender um pouco globalmente falando sobre a capacidade do #movimento:

Subdivisão por Graus:
.
1) Grau I: intervalo inicial de movimento
2) Grau II: movimento com amplitude completa (caráter ativo)
3) Grau III: grande movimento com amplitude (caráter passivo)
4) Grau IV: movimento não-axial (jogada conjunta), podendo ter oscilações 
5) Grau V: movimento não-axial (jogada articular), podendo ter impulso rápidos

Vemos que tanto na Musculação como no #crossfit a intensidade dos #treinos é necessária para se obter bons resultados, mas para isso, não precisa tentar dar um nó em sua coluna, até mesmo porque, se você tenta dar esse nó na coluna enquanto estiver no #SupinoReto, basicamente não irá conseguir na Fase Excêntrica do movimento Amplitude Total, dessa forma tende a não recrutar todas as unidades motoras disponíveis (F.T.1, F.T.2a e as F.T.2b ou F.T.2x).

Segundo Calais-Germain (2002), o ombro não é uma articulação única, e sim um conjunto anatômico e funcional. Dessa forma o #ombro pode cometer duas funções, mobilização de grande #amplitude do braço e estabilidade quando o MMSS necessitar de #força.

This was just what I needed. I love ❤️ going to the gym. I love lifting heavy weights. It is my me time and it makes me feel good. 😊 But I’ve been going hard for a few months now with the weights and I feel like my body needs a little bit of a change up. I’m going to start incorporating more HIIT days (probably 2 per week) to fulfill that craving. -

I don’t actually sweat all the much when I lift weights 🏋️‍♀️ and sometimes you just want to be drenched. When our want that, it’s time for some HIIT.

Yay Saturday am workout! I hadn’t worked out since Wednesday—been really busy and tired the last few days, but I got it done this morning! This bodyweight workout uses a combination of moves that work your chest, triceps, biceps, and shoulders while also building core stability and strength. ⁣
⁣
Tip: Find a medicine ball that’s heavy enough to make the chest passes worthwhile without making the hollow rocks impossible! ⁣
⁣
Complete 3 rounds of the following, resting one minute between each round:⁣
⁣
▪️triceps push ups: brace yourself on the ball and send your elbows backward to target your triceps. ⁣
⁣
▪️hollow rocks: hold the ball over your head and use your core and hips to rock yourself gently up and down. if these are too difficult, you have a few options: ⁣
1️⃣ hold the ball so that it’s pointing more toward the ceiling than the back wall⁣
2️⃣ put the ball down and do regular hollow rocks⁣
3️⃣ do a hollow body hold with the ball⁣
🤫 hint: the closer your legs and arms are to the ground, the more effective your hollow rocks will be. ⁣
⁣
▪️decline push ups: brace your core and squeeze your butt while getting your chest as close to the ground as possible.⁣
⁣
▪️chest passes: make sure your elbows touch the ground at the start of each pass so that you’re getting that full range of motion. be careful not to smash yourself in the face! 🤕⁣

▪️side planks: rest your elbow on the ball and keep your hips stacked on top of each other. make sure your elbow stays directly underneath your shoulder. if these are too difficult, create a “kickstand” for yourself by bending the bottom leg and resting your knee on the ground. ⁣

🔵 FEELING GUILTY 🔵-

Are you someone who feels guilty and regretful after a bad week or weekend of eating?? Why?-

Has your progress EVER been completely destroyed because one day you chose a slice of pizza instead of a salad??? No. It hasn’t.-

One thing that drives me CRAZY is when people act like to be “health” or “fit” your diet is strict and full of chicken, broccoli, and rice.-

I eat whatever I want whenever I want. Why? Because I do eat clean majority of the time and I know that if I have chickfila, nothing will happen!! This week while I was at the beach, I ate TERRIBLE and I felt bloated the entire time but I had FUN and didn’t restrict myself from any foods. I’m back at home now and back on track. I weigh the same weight as I did when I left, and I look the same as I did before I left.-

Nutrition is key to a lot but it’s doesn’t have to be everything you focus on. Eat clean majority of the time and allow yourself some leeway!! LIFES TOO SHORT TO NOT EAT A SLICE OF PIZZA OR CAKE OR ANYTHING because you think It will mess up your goals.

Hier j'ai accompagné chéri pour sa sortie #running en vélo. 🏃🏻‍♂️🚴🏽‍♀️ Puis j'ai fais ma séance 2 de la semaine 3 du #myhiitexpress2 💪🏾 On y va tranquille car la jambe est de nouveau douloureuse.. 😭

Plus de running ou de muscu pour le moment.. On verra bien d'ici quelques semaines où ça me mène.. 😏
